No, it is a very valid question to one who pushes and espouses a lying, sinless perfectionist dogma and a working for salvation.....he has still failed to answer.....
Let us try again.....SPONGEBOB....Do you 100% of the time, 24/7/365 days of the year keep every commandment of God while not sinning....YES OR NO.......????
So I think I understand the accusation. If I hold to sinless perfection, I am lying.
And I do not hold to sinless perfection, I hold to the ability to walk righteously, with the ability
to sin, but it is your choice in response to sin. And if you do stumble, you can repent, confess
and get right with God and walk on. I would call this walking in Holiness and purity.
I would like to bring you to look at 2 John 1:8-11
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
Anyone who runs ahead and
does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God;
whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching,
do not take them into your house or welcome them.
Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.
Now what is John so definitive about that you can fall away from and become a wicked work.
I ask that
we love one another.
And this is love: that
we walk in obedience to his commands.
2 John 1:5-6
Now I am commanded to firstly, love which means walk in obedience to the commands
of Christ, and secondly to have nothing to do with those who do not bring this teaching.
John is saying such people are doing a wicked work.
Worse still he says they are.
Any such person is
the deceiver and
the antichrist
1 John 2:7
So this should be a warning to those who so easily depart from the teaching of Christ.
Not only can you fall away from God you can become a deceiver and an antichrist.
