and you think we have to keep the Law and the Sabbath while we wait, right??
I think you have to love, if you love, you'll have kept the sabbath holy (Isa 58).

2 John 1:6
And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love.

John 15:
9As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. 10If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

12This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Gal 5: 14The entire Law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

I can see that post #111,334 just went right over your head. Do you understand what believers have NOW and what they DO NOT YET have?
You mean the twisting and turning in post #111,334? it doesn't bother me as long as it is in the east and the truth is in the west.

You can not hope for what you already have, you can only hope for what you expect as you wait for it patiently. You can not have your cake and eat it too.

Just as I thought. You don't understand what believers have NOW and what they still yet HOPE for in the FUTURE.

Easy.

Titus 2:11For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Titus 3: 6This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life. 8This saying is trustworthy. And I want you to emphasize these things, so that those who have believed God will take care to devote themselves to good deeds. These things are excellent and profitable for the people.

1 Pet 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birthb into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God’s power for the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Heb 9:28so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

So you are asking what believers have now? they have hope for the salvation which will be revealed later.

The grace of God offers salvation to all people, yet not all people will receive it. Believers are still waiting for the appearing and the glory (second coming) of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, which is a blessed (certain) hope and not some "cross your fingers" hope it happens. Apparently, you believe that believers are NOT saved NOW and eternal life is something that we merely hope for (with an uncertain kind of hope) in the future. *So what do you do with John 5:24? - “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, (past tense, with ongoing present results) and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. *What aspect of eternal life/salvation are believers still hoping for in the future? Does the inheritance cover more than simply being "saved" and passing "out of death into life?" You do realize there are three tenses to salvation, don't you?

1 Tim 2:5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave Himself as a ransom for all the testimony that was given at just the right time.

Again, justification is for all men and there's no such thing as 'all men in Christ' and 'some men in Adam'. It is ALL MEN.
Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for all, but that still does not mean that all men are justified/saved. It's all men "in Christ" who are justified/saved. (Romans 5:16-19)

Romans 5:1 - Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Do all men have faith? NO!

And Paul knew what he was talking about.

Titus 3:7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

You can not hope for what you already have, but if you don't have it, you wait for it patiently.
Yep....Paul did know what he was talking about....you on the other hand....not so much!

and to your question abive to @UnderGrace ....in God's eyes it is ALL A DONE DEAL.......maybe lose your false religious rosey self saving colored glasses and open your eyes to the truth......!!

Unlike the english word "hope," the N.T. word contains no uncertainty; it speaks of something that is certain. - Strong's #1680 elpís (from elpō, "to anticipate, welcome") – properly, expectation of what is sure (certain); hope. If we have saving faith in Christ then we have this hope. Faith is the substance of things HOPED for.. (Hebrews 11:1). So that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the HOPE of eternal life (Titus 3:7).

For the believer who has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life (John 5:24) their hope is real certainty, even though we do not see its fulfillment just yet in regards to receiving our glorified bodies. (Romans 8:24-25)

Romans 8:30 - Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. *ALL of them. *Notice how Paul uses the past tense for a future event to stress it's certainty. (y)
They cannot grasp this truth bro......their Jesus is not all powerful...they MUST help him do what he said he has done already.....

He literally said he doesn’t preach works salvation but it takes work to be saved. One word comes to mind: medication.
I can think of numerous words like........

false, contradiction, error, erroneous, wrong, not of God, unbiblical, contrary, heretical, religiously inept, foolish, double cursed, bewitched etc.......

Once again, in context, all men in Adam and all men in Christ. All men in Adam are condemned and all men in Christ are justified. (Romans 5:16-19)

The victory is in Jesus (John 16:33; 1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 John 5:4) and not in ourselves. Unbelievers stand condemned (John 3:18) and have not received the gift of eternal life so how can they lose what they don't have? Your doctrine is a train wreck. :cautious:

My Bible reads just fine. It's your misinterpretation of the Bible that's the problem. Christ did die for the ungodly, which means everyone, but that does not mean everyone is automatically saved. Romans 4:5 - But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.. *Not all are believers. *Not everyone has faith.

Not at all and verses 16-19 debunks your false theology of Christ justifying everyone (believers and unbelievers alike).

Jesus died for the sins of the world and His sacrifice atones for the sins of the world, yet that does not mean the whole world is automatically saved. The result was justification and life for (believers) those who are in Christ (Romans 5:17) and not automatically for everyone. (Acts 13:39; Romans 3:26; 5:1; 6:23; 8:1 etc..). You need to find a new church.
The fact that junior achievement laughed at the truth you posted speaks volumes.......

1. The grace of God does not 'offer' but 'results' into' salvation for all. Just like one act of trespass did not offer but resulted into condemnation for all, also one act of obedience did not offer but resulted into justification and life for all.

Rom 5:18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

2. The second coming/blessed hope is what has been referred to as salvation reserved for believers in heaven, ready to be revealed at the last time in 1 Peter 1 and what Paul says "Christ appearing the second time to bring salvation to those that wait for Him" in Heb 9

3. Yes, the one who believes is assured because this hope does not disappoint but builds. But it doesn't mean they have it, if they have it, they can not also hope for it.

To understand the word of God, one must actually be born again from above......the cracker jack gospel he peddles and believes has no power to do any such thing.......It has no power to save an amoeba, much less a man.....

Do all men have faith? No. Those that don't, have obviously lost faith for they fail to abide in the love of God.

Otherwise, from the scriptures, all men were justified. When it is said the ungodly, it means all men.

Rom 5:
6You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Still, no one hopes for what they already have. Simple.

The Living Hope that children of God have is this one example , that we shall see Jesus face to face , not happened yet , but a Living Hope that it will...
