While we are at it lets apply your false-teaching to "we ought to walk as He walked". So we should BE PERFECT in keeping the law, Jesus was and we should walk as He did, nobody should ever get married, everyone should get circumcised and the list goes on. You are correct, it does not stand alone. But when you add it with
Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
