Can you believe that some clown would red x this absolute valid truth.....it proves that these jokers and clowns hate the word of God!!!!!
How ironic idolatry will cause one to loose salvation...but denying obvious Truth that is not a problem.

And how many red X will I see tomorrow ...like red Xs are going to suppress the truth or something.

The verse you quote is for all those who put God first. Should we, at a later date turn our attention to something else, and it comes between us and God, then that becomes our idol, and we are in mortal danger.
The verse is for those who have trusted Jesus for eternal life and are saved.... a permanent status.

And that gift is irrevocable, cannot be forfeited, forsaken, given back or lost!

Amen

It is unbelievable how many verses we have shown him, and still, probably out of pride, he refuses to believe.
Here is the ones that I thought would bring him around:

YES, AMEN! and AMEN!

Ephesians 2:5 (ESV)
5 even when we were dead in our trespasses,
made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved

Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith.
And this is not your own doing;
it is the gift of God,

9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Romans 11:29 (HCSB)
29 since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

And again, and again, and again

One thing you can depend on is how consistently inconsistent their dogma is...ie "Yes Jesus paid for all my sins as long as I have no sins."

Yup that makes sense alright:rolleyes:
He wants to play the red x game and even red x'ed a post that had nothing to do with scripture...he is a joke....and he will pay the price for devaluing Jesus....a religiously inept stooge

Romans 5
5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.
5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Don't you think it would be ok to call salvation imputed grace?

You and scripture, describe a judge who pardons a young offender lets say.

So the young offender is pardoned by the grace of the judge, but the grace is all the judges, and the young person can offend again.

And the petty criminal did not have to do any works, except maybe to repent and say they were sorry.

We have not been saved by imputation.
for the second time yes we have

if we are not imputes the righteousness of Christ in us and on us like paul said, then we are left to our own righteousness. Which means we are doomed for all eternity,

Imputation is part of the salvation process, God takes the righteousness which Christ lived (perfection) and places it onto our account, replacing our righteousness,

Do you think the judge imputed his grace into the criminal in the Dock?

God is a righteous judge, perfect in all ways.
1. The righteous judge requires a penalty for sin, no matter how great or small that sin might be, no matter how insignificant we think a particular sin is, God has declared a penalty for that sin
2. the penalty is death
3. The only way to pay foe that sin to make amends for that sin is to pay the penalty, that penalty is death.
4. another person who is also guilty can not pay the penalty in your place. for he must pay his own debt.
5. However a person who is not guilty, who has never sinned, is able to make repetition for your sins and atone them, there by setting you free from that debt.

6. God, in all his Glory, did this by becoming man, suffering the death of the cross for all men and women and children, making atonement for all sin.
7. when his righteous act is credited to your account, thereby freeing you from all debt, that is called imputation.

gospel 101.

What did Jesus do on the cross?

He Saved Us.

He did not impute us. (Sounds painful.)
Why are you having a hard time understanding that God "imputes" righteousness? (Romans 4:6) The word "impute" simply means to charge or put to one's account. Other translations say "credits" or "reckons." It's not painful and is the only way in the eyes of God that we will be seen as righteous. Apart from the righteousness of God in Him, we remain clothed in our own filthy rags of righteousness/our sins remain.

What's painful was for Jesus to become sin for us on the cross. 2 Corinthians 5:17 - For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that WE might become the righteousness of God in Him.

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!
New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,/QUOTE]
Yes, and now that we have been reconciled with Him - regenerated and justified - as obedient children, we are not to conform to the evil desires we had when we lived in ignorance. But just as He who called us is holy, so we are to be holy in all we do. 1Pet.1:14,15 Whatever we do, whether in word or deed, we are to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Col.3:17

As we see in the life of our father Abraham, his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. James 2:22 And so God said to him, "Through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed Me." Gen.22:18

Before faith, I was doing one thing. Now, I do another. Thank God, Jesus changes lives! From soul, to Spirit. From sin, to righteousness. From under to the sun, to above it. From under Satan, to under Jesus. In Christ, all things have been made new. And as our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said, "Anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing." Wow!

Do we really have faith in Him? Or is that just a claim we make?
