NT Faith or pisteuo is 3 parts to it. It's an act, ( starts by a genuine surrendered life). Based upon a Belief, ( that He will accept the surrendered life). Sustained by confidence ( which is trusting that he will keep, maintain, and complete the surrendered life.

NT Faith or pisteuo is not trusting God for salvation.
So you trust in your performance/works (which you describe as the surrendered life) as the means of obtaining salvation instead of trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation?

If you do not know, care about or have experienced your own salvation and all the understanding that brings you are not in a position to reach others.
I said I didn't care about my own Salvation, thats been replaced by a desire to help others.

As far as experiencing my own Salvation, that's between God a I. I can't use that secret part of our relationship to persuade you.

Are you saying we receive grace because we believe?

Let me answer that. GRACE is a Free GIFT for THOSE HE HAS KNOWN ARE HIS, BEFORE TIME BEGAN:

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace,
which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

2 Timothy 2:19 (ESV)
19 But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: The Lord knows those who are his,”
and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”

Why would it be a secret?
Some parts person's testimony should shared it bears witness.

I would say a Continually surrendered life is 95 % courage, 4% endurance, and 1% everything else. It's not about performance, a performance would be seen as filthy rags. Surrender is more about being genuine.

The important part is we must be in Him, and He in us to receive any promise of God. Trusting Jesus for salvation is not a legit path to that outcome. Simply because NT Faith gas not been engaged yet.

No such thing as" believe and recieve." There's a process that needs to unfold.

I'm saying that a Continually surrendered life takes work and effort, courage and endurance. And a Continually surrendered life"is" saving Faith applied.

Any good works that follow are the result of that surrendered life. God's nature flowing through the sealed vessel.
This post is as evil as it comes!!!

I don't care about my own Salvation. I care about others, that would be you included.

There's no such thing as believing in God's word for salvation.

Salvation comes from responding to the call of the Father by Faith. By Faith is comunicated to us by the Greek word pisteuo. Pisteuo is a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender.

So Grace only benefits us by a Continually surrendered life, that has been accepted by God and sealed with the Spirit of Christ.
Well that’s sad you believe that because we are saved via hearing and believing the Word; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; Romans 10:14-17; John 4:42; Galatians 3:2; 1 Peter 1:22-25. The faith we are granted to believe; Ephesians 1:19 is the faith that justifies us before God; Romans 4:5. That justification given to believers by God never grows nor lessens in degrees. It is a permanent standing before God, culminating in guaranteed glorification; Romans 8:26-34, and in the redemption of what God purchased; Ephesians 1:14. Note in this verse it is to the praise of his glory, not ours.

Yet you’ve turned these truths on their head and are grabbing for personal glory, thinking we must add to this by doing. You’re frankly mistaken, and you use no scripture either: We do not and cannot add to our justification, it is a final transaction wrought by God.

You’re conflating justification with sanctification, and making what God does in his elect to persevere as something you are doing as if it keeps you justified. No, no, my friend, any continuance in grace and doing his will is all him, Philippians 2:12-13. All those whom he has justified will be saved, none will be lost.

Come on dcon, get off your laurels and do some work, get up to speed. I can't wait for you forever! The truths I've been presenting to this group are milk, easily verifiable. Focus!

Wow, you can listen! Right, He accepts us, we don't accept Him. I'm paying attention and see you are partly correct.
The bible is correct and that is what the bible states.

A surrendered life in return for salvation is not biblical...that makes salvation a bilateral contract it isn't

Anyway I give up!

None of us can give up. Every day, all day, we will faithe into one thing or another. You are faithing into God's word instead of God Himself, a real living person!

So many misguided people. Works, hold onto, follow the Law, self works, hold onto the law, works
"I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12
"stand firm in the Lord, my beloved." - Philippians 4:1

You're right. I'm beginning to see now that the Bible teaches a works gospel.

Then you’re not really beginning "to see" at all. What you are doing is conflating the sanctifying work of God in a believer with justification. Two huge differences.
