a. To NEVER leave us or forsake us
b. Finish what he started and bring it to fruition<--He is the BEGINNER and FINISHER of our faith
c. SAVE us to the UTTERMOST
d. PLACE our sins as far as the EAST is from the WEST and remember them NO MORE
e. SAVE us eternally and give unto us ETERNAL life
f. Place us in the FATHER's hand and in HIS hand and SEAL us with his SPIRIT
g. THAT NOTHING can separate us fro HIS LOVE

e. HAVE been SAVED, JUSTIFIED, SANCTIFIED (positionally) and SEALED (all past tense with present continuing results by verb tense)
No matter how one slices, dices, rejects, denies, embellishes and or flat lies....IF you can LOSE salvation then YOU must do something to keep it, get it or maintain it....<----ALL equal a works based false gospel which is condemned by PAUL in GALATIANS and NOT found anywhere in the bible....
Salvation if a FREE GIFT based upon faith. It cannot be eared, kept and or maintained by works as it is already GIVEN in faith.
ANY work or fruit is the RESULT of the faith and salvation already POSSESSED by the one who has been saved by faith dia grace.

The Prodigal Son is about a Son who gets his inheritance ahead of time,
Leaves his home and abandons His father,
Goes out into the world and is sorry he did,
Goes back home where his Father is Always waiting for him.

He was saved

FURTHER PROOF THAT SALVATON CAN BE LOST.
This is absolute rubbish. You CAN fall away from faith for awhile, then return to God once again. It happens every single day. The story of the prodigal son is NOT about being saved, losing it, and gaining it again.. I think UnderGrace's post sums up very nicely, exactly what the tale of the prodigal son is about.. here it is.. Post #12831.

2. Through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand: and we exult in hope of the glory of God."

This is speaking to JUSTIFICATION, and NOT sanctification.
Through Justification, a free gift of God lavihed upon us, we have obtained a right standing wih him. We are made righteous through Jesus in the eyes of God. Our faith has saved us and our faith will continue to save us for as long as we believe.
We can praise God for this.

These mean a one time event in the past that remains in effect and passive means it was done to us - we didn't do it to ourselves.

Two believers can have a different opinion on what the bible says.
There is no reason to put each other down and call each other names.
As soon as some respect is shown, I will stop using terms such as cheap grace
or easy believism.
I have NEVER done this before, but it does show the "other side" how awful it is, which is the only
reason I use these terms.
Everyone here loves Jesus.
Everyone here is saved because IT IS NOT DOCTRINE that saves. (this was never answered either BTW. None of my statemens and questions get answered).
So, let's use scripture, let's reply what our beliefs are, let's keep to the point and we'll have a much more interesting converstaion than just make "remarks" as is done here.
And let's speak TO each other instead of ABOUT each other.
