Meanwhile, you claim to refute assurance of salvation via OSAS but in truth what you do is continually dispute it.

Fine, I have problems on both sides of the aisle Calvin and Arminius. :)
I am neither so it does not matter and why did you feel it was necessary to say what you did when were discussing Calvinism....and if you look...when they are engaged the first thing they do is make a mouthy comment about Arminius!

WOW , that is shocking , how did he come to that conclusion...
...xox...
At least 3 of 5 they peddle are false...

a. God chose man A for heaven and man B to cook in hell

b Grace is irresistible

c. Christ only paid the sin debt of believers

All three are false!

John Flavel (Calvinist)
The word ‘World’ is put to signify the elect, because they are scattered through all parts, and are among all ranks of men in the world; these are the objects of this love …

A. W. Pink (Calvinist)
“The ‘world’ in John 3:16 must, in the final analysis, refer to the world of God’s people.
So false and denies the Greek word Kosmos and what it means.....THE WHOLE ORDER OF THINGS.....

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but he hates them.....such a view is totally against God's nature and character....GOD IS LOVE!

Or in the "God Loves Everyone - False" thread where it was argued that only the human side of Jesus loved man, the divine side hated man.

I never heard such nonsense in my life.

Do you see how far they have to go to make their philosophy work.. that is just wrong.

For God so loved the world....does not mean just the elect.
And they have the gall to tell us we don't know scripture and or they are super duper in the understanding area......nothing more than peddling another man's false dogma like the followers of Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russell or Ron Hubbard!

Irresistible grace doesn’t teach that ppl can‘t resist His grace, but that they don’t resist it all the way to hell. We’ve all resisted His grace before we were saved. But there was a time when He drew me and that drawing was effectual, irresistible. Irresistible grace is also called effectual calling.
Irresistible grace (or efficacious grace) is a doctrine in Christian theology particularly associated with Calvinism, which teaches that the saving grace of God is effectually applied to those whom He has determined to save (the elect) and, in God's timing, overcomes their resistance to obeying the call of the gospel, bringing them to faith in Christ.

Another fallacy....because GOD CHOOSING MAN A to be SAVED and man B FOR HELL is contrary....hence the above is false as well because it is built kn a faulty foundation.

SEE HOW SLY THEY ARE FOLKS....only PART of the story....because the whole story reveals how false they are

Let us do a substitution exercise .... with world meaning elect

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:15

“Love not the elect, neither the things that are in the elect. If any man love the elect, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Or how about this one ..................

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:15

“For all that is in the elect, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the elect.

Houston we have a problem!!! o_O:eek:
Ohhhh they will find a way to spin it......they are better than CNN at spinning the truth and or when they are nailed with factual scriptural truth!

And this knowing is not just His omniscience but Him knowing us intimately. Just as Adam knew Eve and she conceived Cain. Him knowing her was an intimate encounter, not just knowing Eve as a person.
So....you just compared God knowing us to the sexually way Adam knew Eve....

yeah...not hardly!

Gods grace is unending and everlasting. It is effectual to all mankind

However not all mankind has any desire for it.

We still Must chose

To say because a man said no Does not gods grace is ineffective, and to say it is is again to mock Gods character
Even Jesus had to choose!

None of you talk about your relationship with God as your assurance of salvation. None. It’s therefore a logical conclusion. You guys just say you can’t lose your salvation. No mention of God at all. Start doing differently. Be a trend setter. First on your block to mention your relationship with God in the same sentence as you’re eternally saved.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAJ WOW MAN....we constantly point to CHRIST....you are so off base it is actually becoming hilariously tragic!

Funny how you think you are so special god chose you over others. Then you sit there and deny it

People who place faith in god can not boast. But you boast in the fact you were chosen over others and deny it

So sad
I had to look to see who you were engaging.....shoud have known it was planter of Tulips.....!!

peddling any person's dogma too much can be a bad idea. the Spirit leads into all truth, not a man or woman per se, unless they super close to God. but even then, you need the spirit to help you understand what they are saying correctly. . :)

Obviously, but after 35 years of intensive study.....It becomes all to clear the Calvinism peddled by a few on this site misses the mark by about 10 light years!

Only God can set us free from our sins once and for all..when we are saved...that’s it done.

I do not repent of my sins every day...also just lately I’ve been sat on my ass and done nothing.

I am still saved..Praise God!
If the goal is to convince yourself you are saved, I guess this works.

If the goal would be to walk humbly with God hearing that still small voice, it won’t happen. You might not care about the sufferings others experience from your sin but God does.

The reason is the Holy Spirit. Once anyone has received the Holy Spirit there is no more desire to sin.

C'mon Dorothy, you know this. Why are pretending that you don't?
Because I observe members openly allowing the sin in them to be released in their words. Their theology is “sin has no power over them” or “if Christ is in them they don’t sin” or “if they have grace they’re free from sin” and then write words that are not only void of Agape love but are full of untruth and venom. One or two even wrote they don’t care if they are that way. Is this evidence of Christ or grace?

But let me ask you, are you free from sin, that is, you don’t do wrong to others anymore and all how live and work with you agree?

You see, the test is not SAYING you are free from sin. The test is not doing wrong in words and deeds. Do your choices march the claim you make of them?
