You not only twist words but you do not have reading comprehension. I plainly said "your posts" and no I'm not going to attach all your posts. You go find them.

And you as well didn't read my last post or you would not have said I "called your soul caustic". This response to me is absolutely point on for your twisting people's posts to fit your agenda. Carry on Dottie.

We have sound reason to have loathe the dogma of conditional salvation... it devalues the work of Christ Jesus plainly and clearly.

I can only surmise the those who loathe the truth of "once saved always saved" do so because is devalues their effort.

Hello :) Your posts are difficult to read with so many run on sentences :(

We need to come up with a better acronym than OSAS.

It’s really Once Born Again, Always Born Again.

But OBAABA doesn’t have a nice ring to it .

We don't judge the person's soul for that is up to God to do. However, we do and should judge the actions of a person, the words of a person, and most definitely the doctrine/preaching/leadership of any person on spiritual matters. There are false teachers, leaders, preachers and absolutely FALSE DOCTRINE.

And once again if one reads Dottie's response to this, she has taken my words out of context, rearranged them to support her "being offended" by what I said. Her words are divisive to this thread.

one problem i see with this is we are not to Judge, no? "Judge not that you be not judged" also, how can we properly judge anyone anyway without knowing motives (only God knows?) tone of voice, attitutes (we can't necessarily see/hear these in chat).

also, how can we properly judge another man's doctrine as totally false when we don't know as God knows, but only dimly, "for now we see through a glass dimly.. but now we know in part" not in whole.

also, are we not open to learning more here, or are we forever closed in our minds to new revelation? we should all be open to learn more truth, or at least not totally closed to it, no?

all these things apply to all of us here.

The problem is that there is an assumption that OSAS carries the connotations that those who believe in it use it as license to sin and sit on our ass and do nothing.

And for some reason it does not matter how many times you tell them that actually you do not believe this is the case. Everyone on this site that I know would never ever ever promote that position.

Then they tend to go to the extremes, to try and prove their point.

As they judge so they will be judged.

We could do "Once Justified, Always Justified"

How else can it be viewed ... there is something the person must do to stay saved, correct?
What is it with some of these believers....working for their salvation after they have been saved.

Are they new babes,is that why they believe this?

I tell you what....there is a lot of confusion on this site....

The Catholic Inquisition was often unyielding to The Truth................. can you not see the "irony" that you use them as a point of reference.

I sure do!
The Inquisition insisted they were pursuing doctrinal or theological or spiritual purity. Yield to how they thought or suffer. Same attitude!

I know 100s of non OSASers and NONE believe as you describe. None!! It’s an untruth from the OSAS camp.

Well, there a fair bit of intolerance and prejudice.

Just for the record, I don’t loathe anyone. I don’t loathe anyone’s theology either. I’m sorry they focus so much on what they get from God and fight giving to Him.

I think, you mean............ they are not will to following their dogma to its logical conclusion.

Is there a statement where we are told to tolerate false gospels?

Not at all. You don’t understand our position and think falsely about it.

If you focused on theology it would be an improvement. So far you attack the people.

You do know that JUDGING and DISCERNMENT are two different terms ? ? ? Judging is a legal term that means, DO NOT PASS SENTENCE UPON SOMEONE.

To say "You are going to hell because I saw WHAT SIN YOU DID." That is JUDGING.

To say, "You are in error because of your Doctrine", when you are Spiritually Mature enough to know better. That is DISCERNMENT.

SPREADING LIES or MISUNDERSTANDING, ABOUT OSAS THEOLOGY, IS LOATHING.
