Yay, end of story!!!!!! Wait, nevermind, he keeps rereading the story over and over. Always has the same ending too, fairy tales, error, false conclusions, ad hominem, but never gets to "The End." :)
Your entire schema rests up the concept of "irresistible grace" yet if grace is so irresistible, why did Adam and Eve choose to disobey God in the state of Grace they were in?

Did they not resist grace and sin?

Or did God create the forbidden fruit to be more irresistible than Himself?

How does it come about that only some believe and others not hearing the same Gospel ?
It it in the hearing if so it means the one that’s saved had something in him that made him better.
So he earned it or was just made better what is it ?
Perhaps it was the one sharing the Gospel that lacked something in the presentation. Now it’s his fault the guy goes to hell?

My view....men overcomplicate everything.....

Be not removed from the simplicity found in Christ.

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

If men add one word, thought, condition, embellishment to the correct message (gospel) and or take ANYTHING away from it, the message they proclaim is void of power and has no power to save.

Men love darkness and will not come to the light lest their deeds be reproved.

And unless the proverbial "lightbulb" is switched on....the natural man cannot know, spiritually discern and or judge the value of the message.

You're the only person, as far as I can tell, who is talking about Calvin, and almost incessantly. You've been doing this for several days, I'm pretty certain I know why. ;)

I've provided a biblical case after the above post, and she was spot on, is growing in her faith, and in grace and knowledge; 2 Peter 3:18.

You didn't use Scripture in context or in its proper meaning in your above. The verse you faintly allude to (1 Timothy 2:4) is speaking of men of all distinctions, not every single man who has ever lived. That, and it isn't being used by you in line with 2 Timothy 2:15. If God desired all men to be saved, every single one, then they'd be saved, every single one.

You don't understand the doctrine of irresistible grace which is why you make erroneous conclusions. It doesn't teach what you conclude it to teach.

Then you end with a bit of demeaning language towards my person, some ad hominem which unfortunately is the norm from what I see on here? Not sure why, but you need to leave that out of the discussion.

For the record God is my teacher, is never wrong, and has never failed. :)
yawnnnnnnn....did you say something of value....not really....

I want to show something about a scripture that bluelake posted. For some reason the whole post doesn’t come up for me.

Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

This is why we should study with the KJV and not use it for just reading.

Be:

G2071

ἔσομαι

esomai

es'-om-ahee

Future tense of G1510; will be: - shall (should) be (have), (shall) come (to pass), X may have, X fall, what would follow, X live long, X sojourn.

Total KJV occurrences: 188

Jesus is telling them that they (we) shall be perfect even as our Father is perfect.

Sure makes a difference doesn’t it?

Ok how does the light bulb 💡 turn on . Was it something in the man that led this to happen .
Was the preacher just that good?
it couldn’t be God right ?

Yet again taking scripture out of context. If God willed all men (every single person ever) to be saved, he would save them, (every single person ever.)
Nothing you said supports your calvinistic position.....

If what you say about grace being irresistible is true.....which is the same thing that your teacher embraced, and God would have all men be saved....ALL would be saved....try being honest for once....what you hold to is incorrect!

Many are called, few chosen <--I see many that opposed your irresistible grace!

Not even one verse is contextually understood above or applied correctly. The misunderstanding and misusage of Matthew 22:14 is a bit troubling. It actually affirms election and so-called "Calvinism" when understood in the context of Matthew 22:1-14. Partially quoting a few verses haphazardly, out of context, and melding them together as some sort of proof proves nothing, and is definitely mishandling the word of God. Note 2 Corinthians 2:17 and 4:1ff to see how Paul speaks of this very thing. Also 2 Timothy 2:15.
All you have given is your opinion

That’s not true

God was willing to take jerusalem under his wing as a mother hen but they were unwilling

God will not force a person against their will.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by what exactly?

the WORD OF GOD.....and this changes nothing in all of the above conversations...

Salvation is open to all
and
Grace is irresistible!

Many others being the key words in your post....Just like Jehovah's Witnesses.....or Mormons.....they have their "KEY PHRASES" or twist of scriptures....Calvinism is easily refuted......this verse is another one...

Many are called, few chosen.

They say grace is irresistible....yet MANY in the above verse, after being IRREVOCABLY CALLED are rejected...

Hmmmmm I thought GRACE is irresistible.......Obviously not!
Grace is resistance he offered it to Jerusalem and they were not willing. So he gave it to others. Who where willing

No insult . You don’t seem to have a grasp of the doctrine.
You are pointing out the results of election not of irresistible grace better put effectual calling .

Is it gods fault that not everyone believes? And if one hears and believes is he better than the one who hears and does believe? I say no. They both earn hell and will for all eternity it is
By grace they were saved (through faith)
Not believe?

The power is in the message.......it is a simple equation that can impact EVERY MAN that hears it.....some cannot grasp this truth.

FAITH in any man COMES BY HEARING THE MESSAGE of the word of GOD....

The bible even states this and you got a thumbs down.....that right there proves this person is not interested in truth, but rather, like a Pharisee of old, refuses correction and or in pride refuses to admit error.

God is not partial and or a respector of persons!
Hey bro don’t forget oncefallen“s warning. Just defend with the truth of the word.

This analogy falls flat on it's face and is a misleading collation....

For God so loved the Kosmos, that he gave his only begotten Son.....

God would have ALL MEN to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

There is not a just man upon the earth that does good and sins not

WHILE WE WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES and SINS IT SAID......!!!!

This Calvinistic farse is sickening and false too boot!
I agree with your post Decon, but I don’t know what the Calvinistic view would be. ??

Just to note. They were not in a state of grace. They had yet sin so was in a state of perfect Harmony with God
