God gave them a command he never gave them a choice.....show me scripture where God said to Adam and Eve...you choose....
He commanded he never said choose.

This is what we re discussing a statement made by Star and how it relates to the Garden of Eden

God gave us free will to "choose."

No God did not state you have "a choice"....that was never the point we all know He set it up as a command.

But that does not negate the choice that was available to them.

How would they have known they had a choice?
Who told them they had a choice?.....not once did God say to them you have a choice.
He commanded not to eat from the tree.....they disobey his command and ate from the tree.

So if your dad told you that you had to be home at ten

He didn't call it sin in the exact word....but did make the command and gave an ultimatum. This made it their choice and when it came down to it...they sinned.

16And the LORD God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden, 17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”

I haven’t researched that word in the bible.

I have eternal life therefore can’t lose it as that is God’s word...I can’t speak for others as I don’t know who is truly saved,x
