Amen.....it is open to all, but only those that believe will be saved...

unfortunately we have some here that peddle a God willed, forced salvation with no choice by man and the unlucky ones out of luck because God hates all lost men and only loves the saved.....
Even the righteousness of God which is unto all and upon all who believe for there is no difference. Romans 3:22

Righteousness by faith is offered to all and placed upon all that believe.

Yes ... Free ... it is indeed and often this is unacceptable to many.

Free to us and secure I hope you would agree?

CC is in a serious drought for correct doctrine lately.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Their are two kinds of works, God's works, which alone can save, and our works, which cannot. Depending on our own works to save us is depending on dead works. We are saved by God's works, not our works. We are His workmanship created unto good works, but not saved by good works. We were saved to bring glory to God. Ephesians 1:12. Thinking we do something to save ourselves does not bring glory to God. Ephesians 2:9

even if we kept the law perfectly in thought, deed, and word, (we can’t even come close), even then we would fall short because we are in Adam. Romans 5 explains this. But the federal headship of Adam is the flip side of Christ as our federal head. In other words, we all died in Adam so that we may be made alive in Christ, whose perfect righteousness is credited to us. He is the LORD our RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Amen....the righteousness of God imputed by faith without the deeds/works of the law.

Is there any part of the bible that would lead someone to think they can work out their own saving?

Is there a part of the bible where Jesus said the law disappears after he ascends?
The law is for the lawless and in force until all things have been fulfilled. However.....

A saved child of God has been eternally JUSTIFIED, positionally sanctified in Christ, forgiven, redeemed from the curse of the law and no longer UNDER the law.

The law has a purpose....

a. Condemn lost men
b. Shut their mouths
c. Points to Christ as the cure

What is the difference? Between that law you speak of and the commandments Jesus said to keep if I love him?

Are the works spoken of in the law? Part of the law? Or part of the commands?
I asked what are works and didn't quite understand still. I did look for an answer abroad.

What is the biblical meaning of work?
  • The biblical theology of work is that work was designed by God as man’s earthly occupation. It is the means by which we sustain life and make discoveries about God’s world. We were created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), and God works ( Psalm 19 :1; John 5:19).
