dc - You put out your stall, and then call others you label as cake takers as evil.

But let me see what you believe. A prostitute comes to faith in Jesus. She trusts Christ
for her salvation, that God loves and forgives her. Trouble is she has to earn a living, and
sleeping around for money is her profession. So she carries on, though she knows God loves
her and has saved her, where is she spiritually? And why is she not in the Kingdom of heaven?
If you regard her as saved, secure why?

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
Rev 21:8

So she has repented of her unbelief and is a good person, does nice things, except for
her sexual immorality, a good example of loving behaviour.

It strikes me your gospel is the cake taking gospel contradicting righteousness and purity,
not able to cope with real moral issues of fidelity and chastity.

I have noticed rather than answering these questions, you are your fellow believers run
away scared.

Is this really the light shinning or darkness fleeing under the truth of Gods light?
What you fail to understand and your fatal error is to compartmentalize sins into a nice neat little boxes.....SIN is IRRELEVANT and has BEEN DEALT with at the cross....the CONVICTION OF SIN by the HOLY SPIRIT is because they DO NOT BELIEVE ON ME.....

SIN is SIN is SIN and the little white lie you may tell places you in the same BOX as your example above.....FORGIVEN is FORGIVEN and AFTER one has trusted into CHRIST they are placed in a positioning of GRACE where the GRACE of GOD out bounds our SIN and the CONDEMNATION of the LAW no longer hangs over our HEAD......

NOW she will be dealt with as a CHILD and afforded TIME to be molded and changed by GOD, his WORD, HIS chastening HAND and HIS BLESSINGS which will ALLOW her to change her lifestyle.......

THIS is what you cannot see because you are sold out to this fantasy land delusion that YOU complete the work Christ has begun and you substitute your own abilities and your own righteousness and deeds in place of the work of Christ in your life.....!

AND for the RECORD....WE have answered until we are blue in the face and you continue to twist, embellish and or fail to see or acknowledge what is said......
Thank you dc.

In your eyes she is saved.
According to scripture she will be thrown into the fire.

So my friend I get your gospel 100% which is why you agreed with my conclusion.
It has taken a long time for this level of honesty to be shown, but thankyou.

The like to focus on all these sin, yet they refuse to acknowledge their own. They are not going to convince people they are reputable teachers, when they do not practice what they preach.

They also like to get a rise out of us, Like condemning that girl to hell because she got angry at God because her child died.

people like to base things on emotions (peter has said himself numerous times that was an important indicator) and not on biblical understanding.
AMEN and no different than the Pharisee of old..........I thank God I am not like that sinner over there......I do this, I do that, look at all my wonderful works and I rarely if ever sin and when I do it is the little sins that are not that significant and can be summed up as messing up or making a mistake blah blah blah.......

that is what legalists do. they put sin in a box, throw a couple of verses at it, and say " just be like me, i'm right with God', all the while never deeply examining their own sins, and confessing and repenting of them.

they have big windows they look at everyone else thru, but tiny mirrors they seldom use to examine themselves.
All of us can in some form or other at different times in our life walk after the flesh. What you say is true here because we can easily condemn others that walk after the flesh in ways that we don't do. It's Pharisee-ism at it's finest.

I find it ironic that some of these say that we are to walk righteously and with purity of heart - these ones are the most slanderous and most deceitful in the twisting of what is really being said and this type of behavior is the worse that I have seen on CC.

When I first came on CC and saw this happening - I said to myself - "Are these people really Christian? I don't see any difference between these and the people in the world living a homosexual lifestyle."

According to their own "interpretation" of some scriptures - these ones that are slanderous and deceitful will be thrown in the lake of fire. Thank God for the gospel of the grace of God in Christ!

Do you worship and praise the Lord with that mouth?!
I would bet you a cup of coffee, that if my doctrine aligned with yours and hers, that these comments would not even be coming from you....see grace gives their own a pass, but truth always gets rocks thrown at it....

Before you let a rock fly....you best understand how to sling....

This is how you speak to a fellow lover of Jesus Christ? Jesus said, "This commandment I give you... to LOVE one another..." Whether your views are sympatico or different, RESPECT should always be foremost in treating someone with dignity. You fall short on all accounts. Not only this post, but MANY I have perused. Shame on you for denying the action of the commandment orated by our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Oh dear lady.....What I said that has you in knots was very respectful, considering what others on this very chat board might have had to say to her, because of her blissful ignorance being proudly displayed...

That post was well written, the arrow, true and on point,I didn't know whether to like It or hide my face In shame.
Lift your hands and face to the Lord and give Him thanks for His overflowing and abundant love for you.

That would be my recommendation.

No need to hide in shame.

God wants us to step out into the light and let Him wash you clean and clothe you in the white robes of His righteousness and love.

I think of it this way.

If my mom told me not to play in the mud but I made mud pies, baked them in the sun, our them on her nice China dishes sprinkled them with powder sugar and gave them to my brother to eat (true story but he way)....

Would I run away from my mom or towards her as my brother angrily chased me because I tricked him into eating my mud pie?

I honestly thought he knew we were playing pretend.

Anyway I ran towards my mom and got punished for disobeying her but I would rather have God's diacipline than the world's.

If you can't tell I was a brat as a kid but God has been working hard on teaching me to be less bratty.

Lol some days I revert to bad habits...

However at the end of the day, God still tosses me in the bathtub and washes me clean to start the next day fresh and clean.

Ummm but he says she will Dcon (though he claims scripture condemns her and thus takes all responsibility for that condemnation from himself). Not sure whom he is speaking about though.

The first few words are wrong. Believers love sinners and desire they might be free from
the bondage of sin and walk in Jesus's love. And where we fall into sin, we repent, confess
and get right with God.

Let us look at scripture

If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:26

We can loose everything in our lives, but they do not compare to the life we
have in God. If we blame God for taking anyone earlier than we expected, and
turn this into bitterness and hatred, we do not know the blessing of life and love,
and how everything we have is a gift.

Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.
Job 1:21

Nothing we have is ours, no blessing is something we are worthy of, and the time
and length of the blessings are in His hands.

Evil will always find an excuse, a way of justifying itself and the damage it brings in
its wake. Until you have learnt this, you have not begun to know the ways of the
Lord.

i think You misread him,

He said in your eyes she is saved.

He forgets the part in corinthians where Paul makes the comment that many of the corinthian church struggled with many problems (such were some of you) but paul said what seperated them was that they were washed, they were sanctified, and they were justified in the name of Christ

It did not say they stopped sin, It did not say they no longer struggled, It said they were washed

He is stuck on sin, And he loves to look at the deep sins, so he can not see the deep sin which resides in his own heart. It is the way pharisees are. they judge others, while praising God how righteous they are..

Beration and belittlement are examples of "resting in the Lord"?... hardly. Maybe learning the humility and dignity of civil "discussions" rather than tearing away at a fellow lover of Jesus,, (quite the opposite of edification of our brothers and sisters in the Lord) would benefit you well.
I do not see you laying waste to those who follow your personal doctrine...

I guess based on your personal perceptions of a statement I made, acting out as a hypocrite is justified in your mind and spirit in order to stop the truth flowing....

Truth is a river, sister...same thing to you...come to full age and quit crying over spilled milk, when your concern should be about the lack of spiritual meat in her diet...

Wait a sec....don't defame God's grace just because the kids don't know how to act.

Personally I get pelleted by both "sides" for simply standing for what I believe in.

I don't bother correcting folks (unless God moves me or I actually believe the person will listen) because it tends to make them madder.

Anyway your pie is burnning.

And I don't say anything to her, cuz we haven't really talked personally to one another.

dc - you agreed that I understand you regard her as saved.

I am saying revelations, the whole of scripture casts her into hell.
Repentance is about stopping rebellion and sin, and walking in obedience to God.

Please tell me which sin is impossible in Christ to follow and keep?

Now I know if you are ruled by the flesh, as Paul says, it is impossible.
Only in the Spirit are we conquerors. But maybe it has not occurred to you but maybe the
reason for your problems is because you walk in the flesh and not the Spirit?

With regards to believing and living in the Grace of God which you so clearly state is a travesty...

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Hebrews 12:28

Interesting grace precedes reverence and godly fear.
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely
Hosea 14:4-7
You mix/mince words to defend your pride...I do not mix.mince words which is why you are still defending your pride...Anyone here knows I have never said this about grace, so if you had any sense, you stop the cheap shots and come to full age....

Undergrace is a wounded warrior. I think you judge her too harshly.

God's wisdom is first true and pure, but it is also gentle and willing to yield in unimportant things.

God would have us make peace.

Beating people over the head with your doctrine helps no one, because folks just tune out anyone yelling at them.

You could have all the truth in the world but unless you show them that you love them, your words fall on deaf ears.

We as God's children must take responsiblity and stop blaming others for not understanding is or really listening.

We need to stop and pray and ask ourselves how can we say it in a way they can understand and relate to?

Paul in Athens took a shrine that said "to the unknown God" and preached about how even their poets called them children of God.he taught how God doesn't need our worship, but how we need Him for our very breath of life and whole existance. He unrepentant preached Christ crucified. I pray we all can preach in such a manner.

Giving the Gospel in a context that those who hear can truly understand and be blessed by our words.

This is a good point about corinthians. The sin they are in Paul calls them to repent and
leave the sin and walk in the Spirit, no longer doing the things of the flesh so they will have
life and not death.

What is odd to me, is when someone says you are walking towards death, the filter of security
says, no they are walking towards life, it is just without any extras. This is why the language
becomes make believe, where every warning has a
"just joking"
"this is cute and fluffy"
"God would not send His chosen to hell, and you are safe, even though you are in sin."

When Jesus says "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"
he is saying this, because no one who knows Jesus would believe Jesus jokes or is sarcastic.

The truth is simple.....it is basic....even nature itself speaks volumes to the order and yet the obvious is ignored, swept under the rug and or flat denied....

apple seed--->sprouts--->grows--->matures over time---->and will bear fruit (sometimes 1 piece, sometimes numerous pieces, sometimes an abundant amount, sometimes the fruit is stunted, sometimes filled with worms, sometimes falls prematurely etc.....)

YET the tree is the tree though out the WHOLE process.......These fruit inspectors and workers for push and demand a tree overgrown with fruit and the limbs breaking or it cannot be an apple tree...

1 apple<--1 righteous deed, 1 good work, 1 cup of water in the name of Jesus is all that is required to prove salvation....

1--1--1--1--1--1--1<--piece is sufficient to prove the tree!

Yes....1 piece of apple wood smokes a few sausages quite nicely.... :D

I would ask Peterjens where is the prositutes church in this story?

Why has the family of God NOT taken her in and given her food, clothing and shelter so she doesn't have to sell her body.

What if she uses the money to support her 5 little brothers and sisters from starving to death?

How would you judge her then?

You preach of holy living Peterjens, but you would judge her to hell instead of give her a helping hand?

I only read your post because Dcon quoted it.

I have long since stopped trying to help you see past the imaginations of your mind.
.it is too time consuming,

I don't run away scared from questions.

If faced with a person who felt this way, I would not condemn them to hell, I would try my best to find ways for her to make an honest living and provide for her needs as she learns a new skill, because that is what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ.
.it's more than just talk,it's being His hands and feet.
