We are saved by Christ's work of faith as the source of His grace that he frely bestows on us. Christ's faith, if it had not works it would be dead. His labor of love provided all the works necessary for him to secure our salvation all the way to the end of the matter.

The apostate Jews required a sign from some work they performed before they would beleive (have faith) it made the cross the one source of Christian faith to no effect and is why they stumbled over the cross even today.

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 1Co 1:21

Christ is not a circus seal show us a sign and then we will beleive.Its an eveil generation (natural man that does seek after a sign before thye will have faith

Joh 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

Signs are for those who rebel,no faith. Prophecy the preaching of the gospel for those who have been born again

1Co 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

The phrase High Sabbath is not a biblical phrase.(no low or medium Sabbath)

Joh 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

Its not called a High Sabbath .that would appear to be a law of the fathers cominf from a false zeal.Anytime we hear his voice on high and not harden our hearts we have entered His rest

The word Sabbath means rest it is not a time sensitive word… This was the preparation for Saturday.(John 19) Trying to make Saturday into a word that means high in order to keep that tradition of the fathers makes the new era of Sabbaths beginning on the first day of the week to no effect.

It’s the results of over zealous of a works righteousness gospel of some of the earlier paraphrases. Changing a rest term into a time sensitive word (week) makes the gospel without effect.

Matthew 28Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
28 And on the eve of the sabbaths, at the dawn, toward the first of the sabbaths, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre,

Its Sabbaths plural not week singular. The words Sabbaths (rests plural) is not week singular. We are not to add or substract from one word and take away the meaning intended .

Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word (singular) which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it,(singular) that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Colossians 2:16 does not specify high sabbath low sabbath medium sabbath.

How about you join the rest of us in the New Covenant and embrace the FULL Sabbath rest which is in Christ?

1. I am NOT psychotic, nor do I have any psychoses..

2. Iced coffee is very good, I'm drinking it right now.

3. I've never even heard of a high (or low) Sabbath. In fact, in all the times I've asked, NO ONE can seem to be able to agree exactly which day of the week the Sabbath IS on..

It is a term used to describe an annual feast Sabbath. You can read about them in Lev 23 and throughout Deuteronomy. These are very much biblical including John 19:31 (see text below)

Just go read Lev 23, Deuteronomy and John 19:31

The word Sabbath does mean rest and to cease from labor and exertion, work etc. It is very much time sensitive as its context is in relation to the 7th Day which has its origin in the creation week and in the giving of God's Law (10 commandments) (Gen 2:1-3 and Ex 20:8-11)

The statement above has no basis in God's Word. See the above scriptures.
