Obama, as the President of the United States, is held up as an example of what Christianity is. That's one of the reasons why I started this thread. I wanted to show the contrast regarding what he says, and does, compared to biblical Christianity.
Obama's "Christianity" influences millions. Millions of people who don't read their Bibles, that is. Those who believe their good works, tolerance, acceptance, and "loving attitudes" will carry them to heaven. The ones who believe they are doing "God's work" when they terminate an unwanted pregnancy, for the "mental and spiritual health" of the mother.
Those who believe that since God is love, love should "win" in regard to two homosexuals marrying.
The same ones who believe that all religions are "valid" and lead to the same place. That we all worship the same God, but in different ways.
In short, the things that are touted to prove Obama is a model Christian, are things that are an abomination to the God of the Bible.
Could any of us, who claim to be Christians, praise abortion, homosexuality, or other religions with the fervor President Obama does? Would any of us violate our consciences by claiming aborted children are not actually human, that homosexual relationships are blessed by God as long as they're monogamous, or religions that lead to the literal damnation of millions upon millions of people are just as "valid" as Christianity?
Let me ask this: If you were given fifteen minutes to spent with President Obama, and you were permitted to talk about whatever you wished, would you spend that time talking about the economy, crime, foreign policy, etc., or would you try and lead this man to Christ?
If people point to Obama as an example of biblical Christianity, and we neglect efforts to correct them, we have failed our President, his supporters, and God's command to share the true gospel.
