The funny thing about the anti osas people is that if they were the brothers or friends of the prodigal son..,they would have been picking up stones to stone him as he came back to his father.

The brother who stayed home was a prodigal as much as the prodigal was.

A 25 watt bulb will burn more brightly at a higher voltage.....for a second. Lol
The bad thing about that is as the strength of the light increase a person that won't recognize their guilt as their exposure becomes so evident that they can't deny the truth anymore will just become reprobate from pride rather than call for help.

This is why I hate those little headings above certain parts of scripture.

after studying it, the "heading" should be the prodigal and evil sons.

If we don't follow in Gods plan for our lives, we can go in 2 directions.......carnal(young son) or religion(older son)

And while everybody focuses on the "bad" younger son, we see him returned to fellowship with the Father. We don't see the older returned to fellowship with the Father.

Religion is our a #1 enemy.

"9 my eye grows dim through sorrow.
Every day I call upon you, O Lord;
I spread out my hands to you." Psalm 88:9

Hmm! This being the only lament in the Psalms that does not turn to God in the end.

I guess that is the loss of hope people feel when they don't believe God has the power to save them, and it is up to them. No one can have a bigger burden than that - salvation being through works, creating more sorrow even affecting the soul and the body!

how smart, do you have to be, to believe.

For God So Loved the World
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life

and if someone speaks these words to you, and you understand them. etc

and furthermore, the bible is a translation, yet no matter, what lingo, is used, has the same value to all. who reads or believes in.(john 3- 16)

They will be dim and walk in darkness until they are ready to come to the light and be illuminated....I have said many times that bugs are smarter than most humans....at least they will flock to the light when in darkness!

How great is our darkness if we think we are in the light?

The hardest and most difficult spot for any of us to come out of.
