I think most people misunderstand OSAS and think it's kinda.. I can get saved and then do whatever I want deal.

First-- that isn't thinking spiritually.. it's thinking carnally.

Second-- Numerous scriptures talk about God disciplining His children after they are saved. As a loving Father, He will correct, discipline and chastise. So someone who is unfaithful after being saved (this is possible) .. will incur God's discipline and rebuke. Therefore-- it is unlikely to find a believer who is continually living like an atheist.. because they will have been chastised to come back to faithfulness to God.

God may even take an unfaithful believer home.. end their life to stop them causing future harm.. but He won't undo His promise of eternal life to them when they believed in Him.

Initial salvation is in the book of John. Daily service is in the book of James. They aren't mixed up together.

What about those that may have believed and become Christians but then deny or denounce him. This is what was been warned of in the Hebrew letter to the newly converted Jews. Consider a baptized believer, a saved individual, who renounces Jesus and becomes a Muslim. Is this person still saved? I don't think so.

It's seems to me a person could think of a thousand reasons why another person could become unsaved,

But then they wouldnt question such things for themselves, go figure.

OSAS is Calvinism but only after salvation- once you believe, you're locked in, and God won't let you leave. Anybody who leaves "never really believed"... based on a superbad interpretation of 1john2 18,19... even though in the same chapter John tells them "now, little children, remain in Christ", as if they have some kind of a choice!

I just looked at that site and more... it just brings so much pain in the spirit. To not care that much about other believers. I can pick a few people on this forum that I really disagree with I could then keep going yet.. i have to stop why? "look at your self first". Its as if some treat their sin totally different then when others sin. As if their doctrine is not wrong just those they disagree with. Now me not boasting .. if I think believe your wrong? I pray for you but not what I think...just good things.. I take my authority over the enemy and his lies.. I speak words of life about you. As one said.. it seems like pure hate. No love no mercy no grace no forgiveness. If someone makes a post crying out for help in some way you would think someone would answer huh.

As for debunking OSAS...sure but as one said.. odd how you know your forever saved.. lol praise GOD..oh Father forgive me.. change me 1st before I try to change anyone that belongs to you the one and only TRUE GOD. Some talk about fear of GOD yet have went after other believers with no fear.. odd

That makes no sense. If you believe, confess your belief as did the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, and then baptized, you're saved. If that infividual at some later point in his life then renounced Christ, he would then no longer be saved. How could he be? If it can't happen as you're suggesting, then why the biblical warnings? Simon the sorcerer believed and was baptized and thereby saved in Acts 8, but because he wanted to purchase the power of God he saw being manifested by the laying on of the apostle's hands, he was told to repent or perish. That means he could have been lost.

Being born again is a spiritual transaction that only God can do. It's by water and the Spirit. The water is the word of God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. We cannot do this for ourselves. Neither can we undo it.
So that only leaves God to do it. But He has no interest in doing so. He will never leave us or forsake us. Neither is there anything which can separate from the love of God.
There are a number who attach themselves to the church for various reasons and to various degrees who later leave the church and return to their former ways. Many even appear to be genuine believers. But they were not.
God loves with an everlasting love. Once He sets His affection upon you, He will continue to be with you and work in you until the day of Jesus Christ.

It's a sad way to spend your life
Y'know what's an even sadder way to spend your life? Spending it committed to a religion of false doctrine. Jesus didn't say "Take the beam out of your eye- don't worry about the speck in your brother's eye; he will be fine with that speck in there" A big part of the spiritual warfare is Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

then why the biblical warnings?
I've heard an OSAS pastor- he was a baptist or something- explain that, the warnings are actually a part of what guarantees that you stay saved- IOW, true believers will heed the warnings, and those who don't heed the warnings never really believed... which is... to an extent... I can see how warnings can be preventative, but I also think that some people might willfully delude themselves to escape suffering or some undesirable circumstance. "Hardening the heart" so to speak.

Well, you'd have to look at why they are denouncing Him. Maybe they got caught up with the wrong crowd ...taught the wrong things after salvation.

But the thing is .. that's attachinh behaviour to being saved. That's putting requirements to 'prove' you are saved.

There is going to be fruit from someone getting saved..but looking at their works isn't the measure...is whether they entrusted their salvation with Jesus the Messiah, God.

The book of John shows how you can know you have eternal life and it's by initial belief in Jesus as God.

You must be faithful unto death. So, if you're not, you can't ultimately be saved. Initially yes, but you must remain faithful unto death as the scripture says. So bottom line, you CAN lose your salvation.

Phil 2:12

12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Peter denied Jesus three times and yet Jesus forgave him for being weak in a time of great distress.

well I've been studying psychological evaluation on a personal level,

Concerning thoughts and still voices, hearing voices.

Confidence seems to be the major contributing factor as to why a persons doubts.

From a false sense of confidence to a lack of confidence

Often a condemnation of others is based on à lack of security,

Rather than the person examine themselves, they direct the condemnation at someone else to get an answer.

Its often an underlying issue they haven't dealt with, that is the root of the problem.

However I came across an article about how satan likes to make people question something they can gain confidence in like salvation or spiritual gifts.

Interestingly enough in another article that blame was shifted onto how narcissist people work,

Putting them in the same field as satan worshippers who set up as as a Christian to attack Christian values,

But then I wondered naa there couldn't be such a thing as a narcissist Christian.

All there is condemnation of Christianity.
Condemnation of heresy you mean? There's not really an excuse not to condemn false teaching.
Rather than the person examine themselves, they direct the condemnation at someone else to get an answer.
As if self-examination and rejection of false-teaching were somehow mutually exclusive. You have to do both; but a YouTube channel about how you examined yourself and sought out correction is hardly going to have the same appeal; and it's not going to help somebody that is caught up in some cult with whack doctrine.

I think you'll find hes

1 extremely biased towards denominations.

2 gaining subscribers by attacking popular figures in Christianity.

3 disregarding good sermons spoken by popular preachers and only finding fault

4 promoting controversy

5 attacking spiritual gifts

6 only posting negative images

7 demonising Christians

Soon he will have a book of his own that he will make millions, that has come about from the above 7.
