Apply this Context.;
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

What say you?
I say you're ignoring the context of the flood, where the ungodly were taken. Noah got ready; his neighbours did not.

The left behind ones were destroyed.
Lot left...those left behind destroyed
Baby jesus left...those left behind destroyed.
Enoch left...those left nehind destroyed
Noah left via the flood water...those left behind clawing at the boat were destroyed.

Pretrib rapture vivid and solid.

You are twisting Scripture to get it to mean what you want it to. In fact, in all three cases that you cite, those that were left on earth were saved while the wicked were taken up and destroyed. When you twist Scripture to make it mean what you want it to, then you've twisted God's word and it becomes your word. BTW, Satan quoted and twisted Scripture 3 times during the temptation of Jesus in the desert. JMHO

A mirror of the rapture that you missed had you gotten the context.

You declared there was nothing there indicating the groom coming for the bride.

Well you missed it.
Sorry you got offended friend

Not friend, so don't patronize me!

I most certainly KNOW,BELIEVE AND WATCH for my Lord, Master and Saviour to return for HIS BRIDE.

Comprehension misplaced is on YOUR PART not mine.

There is no where in these verse WHEN his return will be...pre......mid.....nor post.
You are adding to by saying pre tribulations.

Something you've been taught but have you researched it for yourself or just rehash what you've been taught?

Yes, this passage is speaking about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. And the reference to Lot confirms this. Lot and his family were forcibly removed from Sodom BEFORE fire and brimstone rained down upon Sodom and Gomorrah. So Lot, his wife, and his two daughters were "taken" out of Sodom while his sons-in-law were "left" behind and suffered the consequences of divine judgment. And since the heart of Lot's wife was still in Sodom, she too was left behind.

It will be thus at the Rapture. Believers will be taken to Heaven whereas unbelievers will be left to face divine judgments during the Tribulation and Great Tribulation. In the Bible Lot is deemed "righteous" or "just" or "justified" by God (2 Peter 2:7) and all those who repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are also deemed "righteous" by God because they are "in Christ" (and Christ is in them) and justified by God's grace. This passage in Matthew 24 should be a warning to those who have not obeyed the Gospel, since the Rapture has always been imminent.

There is no "twisting" of the Word of God when it is (a) spiritually discerned and (b) rightly divided. The FACT that Lot's removal from Sodom is included in that passage confirms as to who is "taken" and who is "left" behind.

The Flood story tells how Noah and his three sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, together with their wives, were saved from the Deluge to repopulate the Earth.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

The one that was taken away, was the one that did not get on the Ark. The ones left on earth were the one's saved.

So you WANT TO BE LEFT BEHIND. The churches wrongly all preach that you want to be taken, to be raptured up! The one that is left, is the one that is saved! We are going to have to go through the persecution in the end times.

In the case of Noah Scripture is very clear that it is not Noah and his family that are being taken away, but the flood came and took all the wicked away. Review Matthew, Cha 24 in it's entirety. It is very clear that the wicked were taken away and it is clear in this chapter that things will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man.

Verse 29 The same day, not 7 years later.
God is sovereign in these matters. So there is no need to make an issue out of "the same day". And for all we know there might be divine judgments on earth immediately after the Rapture.

I say you're ignoring the context of the flood, where the ungodly were taken. Noah got ready; his neighbours did not.
In the flood noah enters the ark way ahead of the rain.

I contend the ark floated at a level way below the hills being covered.
No doubt it bounced off of hills and was run aground several times before the wicked finally stopped clawing at the sides.

So it could be that "took them away" was actually noah drifting away from hordes of desperate wicked people screaming to noah inside the boat.

Could be.
Just a thought.

It is not a pivotal issue

There is another complication in what you wrote. Note that the ratio is half,or 50%.

in your model you would need half the earth saved, the other half born again with no mark. (50-50). Add to that, your model has a righteous teamed up with a wicked across the entire planet, when there is no righteous/wicked labeling in the "one taken/left" story.

That alone is a fantastic mis representation.

However if you keep reading ,just a few sentences later,
Jesus paints yet another picture and includes this same 50-50 dynamic. (the virgin parable)
It is another picture of the SAME GROUP.
Jesus is pointing to a group of people in both pictures he is painting.
Add it up, We have Jesus shifting the timeline and setting, from after the trib, to before the trib.
Then ,in that setting, he points out a segment of people.
Half taken, half left.
then he issues two warnings to be watchful and ready for he is returning.

But then to authenticate and certify his example, he repeats it in another example of his parable style Only 3 sentences later!!!!!
The 10 virgins'.
Half taken,half left.

both MIRROR the pretrib rapture.

"Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." - Matthew 24:40-42 KJV

If we are approaching this as a literal comparison between one individual being saved and one destroyed, the party "taken away" should properly be interpreted as the party that is destroyed per Psalms 90:5-6.

"Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth." - Psalms 90:5-6 KJV

But, there is a different way to look at this:

"I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." - Romans 7:25 KJV

If the two people represent two parts of one person, Matthew 24 represents purification. The conundrum between the two parts of the person is which one is the owner of the house (the body), which the rest of Matthew 24 addresses how that is handled.

What you just painted was the wicked taken away at the start of the flood/trib.
No wicked on the planet for the duration of the trib/flood?????

Agreed, it's not a pivotal issue, though I firmly believe that Jesus' "them" is all the ungodly, not the eight.

Does the parable of the soils tell us that 25% of those who hear the word of God will be saved? No, it doesn't. It's not arithmetic, it's the principle of distinction. Some will be taken, and some will be left. Jesus spoke in simple terms. Let's not infer concepts that were not clearly implied. The comparison is made to those taken in the flood, when there obviously was not a one-to-one ratio.

Ok,
this brings up a couple more points I hadn't noticed before.
No where does it say any wicked taken in the Noah story Jesus is describing... zero

Also nowhere does it say anyone on a roof, bed, or at work is either wicked or righteous....zero.

those two assumptions are not well thought out at all.
Instead those two assumptions are driving the model some are putting forth.

IOW, a model BASED ON conjecture.

You made my point.
two separate groups.

Apples <> Oranges

IOW the ratio alone tells us it is not a group of 50-50 righteous vs wicked.

in the "one taken/left" story the ratio is can not be ignored.
Same with the 10 virgin parable
