You mean like the false belief that God doesn't speak to us?

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me

You have a lot to learn, my friend. Your words are correct in many ways, but you don't follow your own words. They witness against you. I hope you discover Jesus' righteous and not this self-righteous attitude that lifts you above others. And if you desire to correct people, which is fine, also be open to correction yourself. Or else you might be the hypocrite Jesus speaks of. Focusing on specks in people's eyes while ignoring the log in your own.
I believe you have misinterpreted the Bible, if you believe that God still speaks to people. As a sheep I hear His voice, His Word is eternal and it's not spoken to me individually. His Word was spoken 2000 years ago but it speaks and applies to me today, so you are mistaken my friend if you believe that God still speaks to individuals.

I would be very concerned if you believe that God spoke to you, I would say it was an evil spirit trying to deceive you.

God's Word is complete and perfect, if anyone adds or takes away a single jot or tittle they will suffer horrific punishment. We will never fully process what God has already said to us, let alone seeking new revelation. So beware of anyone who says "God told me", because God told us a mankind not anything as individuals.

Really?

Aren't you the one who stated:

"We believe God created certain people without the ability to come to a saving knowledge of God and respond by believing the Gospel."

Your statement that "[your] God doesn't punish people for something they had no say in" contradicts your statement that "we believe God created certain people without the ability to come to a saving knowledge of God and respond by believing the Gospel".

So is it now your claim that those who "God created ... without the ability to come to a saving knowledge of the God and respond by believing the Gospel" will not be cast into the lake of fire???
No it's not my belief that those who were created without the ability to come to a saving knowledge, will not be cast into hell.

Of' course they will be cast into hell, because they deserve hell. Just because they weren't given the ability to come to the saving knowledge doesn't excuse them from punishment for their sins.

They are not being punished for not having the gift of salvation, they are being punished for all of their wicked crimes which they committed against God during their lives. They are personally responsible for each and every crime and since they don't have a savior they must pay them by themselves.

Every single sin which has ever been committed must be paid for, either Jesus paid for them on the cross or they will be paid for in hell but God doesn't wink at sin. He must punish it, or He's not a just God.

So asking you to seek guidance from your pastor concerning James 1 so you can learn to overcome temptation is "creating a new denomination"??? o_O

Do you even think before you click the "Post reply" link?
Dear Sir, James 1:12 is merely an observation of a saved person and how they receive their reward. There's no instruction in it and it doesn't teach anything, it's just observing a true believer receiving his reward for believing. Remember believers were given the ability to believe as a gift from God, none of us deserve it and we didn't do anything to earn it.

So James doesn't have anything to offer in the way of teaching or instruction, it's just stating the fact that a saved person will receive his reward which God elected him to receive before he was created. So there's no need to ask my pastor to explain how to apply that verse to my life, since I am already a Saint of God and my salvation is 100% guaranteed no matter how much I sin.

You have obviously been deceived by someone, none of that is Biblical.
For this good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim 2:3-4. 1 John 2:2 ~ He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. I quoted Scripture, which has obviously completely escaped your attention, meaning you are unfamiliar with Scripture. What gives you the idea you can try to school me in the Scripture you are so obviously ignorant of?

= You are saying that god is a big loser and a liar, you say he wishes to save the whole world so he's a loser because most are going to hell and then you say he desires all men to be saved but he turns around and casts the majority into hell so that makes him a liar.

Yeah, I kinda don't believe in your god. I will stick with the One in thew Bible, thanks anyway but you can have him all to yourself o_O
I had nothing to do with you turning God into a liar and loser; you did that all on your own :censored::p

You'd have to ignore a lot of Scripture to believe that.

The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

The Pharisees sought the Scripture, but were unwilling to come Him.

We are transformed from glory to glory. His glory. Looking at Him sets us free.

Holy Spirit is our Teacher. And when Jesus said My Sheep hear My Voice. Which Bible did they have?

Which Bible did Paul encounter Jesus through? Which Bible were Moses, Abraham, etc lead by?

Why does the Bible itself explicitly say, those who are lead by the Spirit are sons of God?

He never contradicts Himself, but He is the LIVING God. And He does speak to His children. Paul explains this, "Spiritual truths are only discerned by spiritual men."

Joel 2:28-29, “And after this it shall be that I pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions. And also on the male servants and on the female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days.”

what days? the end times:

Joel 2:30-32,30 “And I shall give signs in the heavens and upon the earth: blood and fire and columns of smoke,"31 the sun is turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of יהוה."32 “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be delivered.b For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escapec as יהוה has said, and among the survivors whom יהוה calls.

Yes the Creator still sends information to His people...

Of' course they will be cast into hell, because they deserve hell.
NIV = 0 Bible results for “deserve hell.”

NKJV = 0 Bible results for “deserve hell.”

YLT = 0 Bible results for “deserve hell.”

ESV = 0 Bible results for “deserve hell.”

NASB = 0 Bible results for “deserve hell.”

I could go on, but why don't you try this on for size instead? It is Biblical, unlike other things you have been spouting off about:

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

James 1:15
Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.

Romans 7:13
Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

Genesis 2:17
but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die."

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--

Romans 5:17
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:16
Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

Romans 7:5
For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death.

Romans 7:11
for sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me.

Romans 6:21
Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

Proverbs 16:25
There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

Romans 7:24

Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?

Unfortunately one can read Scripture without coming to God. One can have all the right doctrinal beliefs without coming to God. One can have all the right "outward" works without coming to God. There's only one thing that saves us - coming to Him. He alone is eternal life. There is no other way apart from Him. He is the Truth. He is the Way. May all "religious" things lead us to Him. And may we be lead by His Spirit.

Don't fool yourself into ever entertaining the idea that you will somehow work out Gods motives for doing what He does. His ways are as high as the heavens from your fallen, sinful, totally depraved, shallow ways.
This makes no sense. You can do better then this, Who said I can work out Gods motives. I can read his character. And see how and who he is by lookin gat his word and seeing what Christ did (Since christ represents him) And he tells us what his motives are. (LOVE)
It's actually sinful to speak about God in those terms, I suggest you repent and confess your sins lets ye be the "R" word.
Lol. Ok, So you can not refute what I said, all you can do is throw a strawman around and judge me.. I see your no different. Thanks for provingn this. If it makes you fell better, then I guess its ok.. But if you think it is going to turn anyone to your way of thinking, Well. You should think again.

I would suggest you were never a true believer, a true believer never falls away. He remains faithful until the end.
Well I never fell away, My faith in God is stranger today than it ever was.

But since you think your god and can judge a persons salvation. I will just have to pray for you. Because you are set in your ways, and no one is going to convince you otherwise.

I'm not interested in you private, fallen, sinful, narrow view. It's not Biblical at all so I can only assume you heard this from Demons, it's the doctrine of Demons because it's antiChrist. Christ never taught anything of the sort and the Bible teaches the very opposite
Not Biblical? Here's just one of MANY verses that say that God doesn't want ANY to parish..etc

2 Peter 3:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
New International Version (NIV)

Isaiah 6:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

More research..

"*God spoke three times, audibly, in the New Testament. The first was at Jesus' baptism, when God spoke audibly, aloud, to man, "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."Feb 6, 2012"

However..I AM VERY interested in the scripture that says God doesn't speak to us anymore ..a lot of people profess they have and what they hear is NOT demonic..lol

Maybe God hasn't spoken to you cause you seemingly refuse to listen?

I just posted Bible verses for you..am waiting for you to post scripture saying that God no longer talks to people in prayer etc...

@Slayer..

Here's another

Kings 19:11-13 King James Version (KJV)
11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:

12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah.."

Revelation 3:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.'

Not only does it talk about "hearing my voice" but it points out the fact that WE have a choice to accept or reject Christ..God doesn't limit the "saving"to certain people :)

In your Post #2,495 you stated:

"My God doesn’t punish people for something they had no say in"

In your Post #26 you stated:

"We believe God created certain people without the ability to come to a saving knowledge of God and respond by believing in the Gospel."

If your "God doesn't punish people for something they had no say in"

and

your "God created certain people without the ability to come to a saving knowledge of God and respond by believing in the Gospel"

they cannot "deserve hell" because they were "created without the ability" so your "God doesn't punish" them.

Do you even think before you click the "Post reply" link?

No instruction? Seriously?

James 1:12 encourages us to remain steadfast in our faith as we persevere in our trials and hold fast to our faith in Christ even when an enticement is held before us.

Faithful to erroneous doctrines? How foolish you sound!
I think we should pray for Slayer. I've read their defense of their beliefs here. It all stems from how they've been instructed by the pastor they give the credit. They're in a false church being misled by a false teacher. One whom will answer to a far more strict standard than those whom he corrupted.

Yes you quote scripture by plucking verses out of their intended content and apply them to your false religion. You should never quote verses in isolation and misapply them, those verses you quoted were spoken to Gods elect. So to properly understand them you need to consider who they were directed at, they weren't spoken to the reprobate.
