God has given great order in all..
He is not given confusion..
go and read the truth in Bible
Truth always gives the kick to others
WE are not to judge but word of God can judge on every thing
Money and knowledge is able to do many things in all

I won't go to a church where a woman co pastors. Men have to be men and women have to be women or people start being in the grand scheme of things where they stop following order and start being homosexual, disobedient to parents, effeminate, etc.

You are PC, so don't tell me you don't do PC. You're out with your buddies and across the street your sister is walking by. One of your buddies tells what he's thinking about her because her pants are too tight. Different reaction then?

Yeah, how about that. Your sister is important to you, but women in general are just objects to be looked at. And don't deny it, since you already proved it with Joyce Meyers. That's what I hold against you. And since the 20-somethings are STILL doing this, there is no hope for the future. (And since women joined in, there is no hope for the future.)

Everyone talks up how women are just as capable as men, but when the foot hits the pavement, their words prove it's just PC and only to be spoken in the right context to look good. It doesn't go deep into the heart. After all -- women are only here for man's pleasure.

You are just lashing out at me for no reason...my comments on this forum have never objectified women or degraded them because of what they are wearing...I don't care what they wear it's not on my body so why would I? I have already stated that men with problems with their eyes need to commit it to God and ask the Holy Spirit for help to overcome their temptation....is that blaming women....no.....that being said women shouldn't dress provocatively and cause a fellow brother in Christ to sin...I realize this is hard as most of women's modern clothing is designed by men, who try to make provocative clothing as the new trend these days....am I vastly generalizing all women as dressing provocatively...not at all...both men and women need to take steps to limit temptation is all I'm saying I am not gender bashing....

There are men's calvin klein jeans that are skinny and sticky to the body to also accentuate male paraphernalia and also the new trend of making men look feminine...I speak out against that just as well....so you can't target me with verbal barbs saying I'm PC....Also, I do my part in my fashion so to speak....by wearing very modest clothing, loose fitting (not sagging btw) jeans WITH a belt on to secure them....even my polo and dress shirts I button all the way up except the top button and wear an undershirt with it....

With all due respect, you tend to lash out at others who have a contrary view and like to label them certain things which they are not...that is not right....the forum is for discussion not attacking others...or demeaning them because of their views..

your "no hope for the future statement" is another mass generalization...not all 20 somethings objectify women...to say all from my generation do this is just wrong...woman are objectified by the culture...and it's been going on a long time so you can't just blame my generation as "still doing" this....what about the 60's and 70's when they had glamorous looking women on car advertisements on TV?????That's also objectifying women....

Honestly answer this question....is Joyce Meyer's jeans look loose or tight? The FACT is they look tight....I don't care how much you want to deny it....that is not judging her for her fashion that is describing what she is wearing...

If my sister wore something indecent and my friends said something about it, I would talk to her afterward and let her know because I care for her image and about her in general....there is no different reaction....I tell those I care about the truth whether they like it or not....being PC/lying only does them more harm in my opinion....

Then someone has been hacking your account --
Yea I don't agree with her new-age/psycho-babble false teachings either... she's all about self...cutting her lips to look like the joker....doing face lifts etc....there's nothing wrong with these things but it seems she's obsessed with them getting them more frequently as years go by...like these weirdo celebrities....

A man is going to look if he is a man because that is what he is designed to do. I don't want to shame people but both sexes stumble each other the way they are dressed.

So the wife of the pastor has to shut up, do nothing, well maybe theach the boys in kid's church?
Older women and widows were to teach the younger women.
I like those churches where those wives that never did anything now can step out and have a cell group with women and get the harvest in and men don't bother if she shares something to them too.

Sure, look! I look. But look at the language being used for women. This is not a butcher shop and we're not racks of meat to be compared. I get that mentality at a construction site, a bar, or at the beach, but this IS supposed to be Christians talking. It might as well be a bar and the last call has already happened. (I can even hear the men saying, "I'm not THAT drunk" when pointing out a woman.)

This post never was about what women look like. It just became that because it is socially acceptable -- even in the church -- to do that. Note: it's not socially acceptable to do the same thing to men unless it's a strip club for women! There aren't even the right words to equate for a man what many have been calling a woman on this post.

We're supposed to be different. It pains me that so many not merely ignored the attack, but went along with it and added to it. And now?

Now you justify it!

It matters! Don't be telling me women are equal in Christ if you think we're just slabs of meat to be ogled.

Funny. "Skank" is not a curse word. Yet the excrement from a bull is. There's a whole lot of bull going on here, and now you're hitting justifying the manure!

question:

if a woman shouldn't have authority over men, then at what age does a boy become a man? when he turns 18? graduating high school? college? gets married?

i ask because a lot of people are ok with women being children's pastors or youth pastors, and then BAM! no more.

I'm not going to use that cheap excuse of account hacking...I own up to it and boldy state I don't care for Joyce Meyer and yes I do think she looks like the Joker...if that offends you too bad, people are entitled to their own opinions..and don't act like you have never disliked someone such as another male and said something about them...even if you thought it and didn't vocalize it....

If you can show me where it says in scripture that a woman can not be under the authority of a man in a corporate role of leadership, I will change course.
But it must be something that is concrete. If it is vague, or abstract, or ambiguous, i will not agree.
I don't see how allowing a woman to co-pastor under the authority of a man or men would lead to disobedience to parents, or effeminate or homosexual behavior.
In the ordered Christian household a man is the final authority (actually God is, but the bible teaches us that the praying man is the conduit) but who can deny that woman, mothers, have as much influence on their children as the men, More in some circumstances. While the wife submits to the husband, doesn't the husband and wife also work together to raise the family? Isn't the wife left to certain authorities while the husband is not home? Don't both hold authority over the children? Isn't the wife the help mate?
So why exclude woman as having certain responsibilities and authority in the church, again, under the final authority and leadership of the men?
Are you suggesting that this would cause men to lose their identity? Would it confuse men? Are men that insecure (some of the woman reading this are saying to themselves, well yeah, they are -honey you don't know what I have to do to prop up my man) If this is true, then this generation of men are in a bad place.
Maybe to much plastic abounding.
Or is it that woman will lead us to the wrong fruit tree once again?

My friend just because you cant deal with a woman apart for seeing her in a sexual way, don't mean REAL men of God are like you. Why don't you pluck out your own eye instead of wanting to put veils on women.

But are you suggesting that woman who dress in a provocative manner are not aware that they may be encouraging a licentious glance?

My father is a pastor...a well groomed, neat and tidy, handsome man. He takes pride in his looks and is always respectful to all people. This, to certain female minds, means "I want a man like that!" I recall a middle aged female suddenly attending our church for about 3 Sundays in a row. Mom and dad are always trying to beat the crowd to the back door as to greet all visitors and congregation. Finally, they got to meet this 'visitor" and greeted her warmly. The lady asked if she could speak privately with dad. Dad agreed, and as usual, kept his office door wide open with mom just outside the door, pretending she was arranging things. The woman got directly to the point. She told dad that her husband and her were not successful in conceiving children. Her husband was infertile. Instead of adopting, they chose to pick a male who would best suit their taste for their child. Her question was "Would you ever consider donating your sperm so that we can have a baby? You have the color hair, the build, the look, the personality and the style that we would want for our future child. And, you are a man of GOD! There would be no sex involved, just being a donner would suffice!". Mom overheard this request and almost fainted! No, dad was embarrassed and did not comply. What I am saying is that good looking, non-balding male pastors are 'targets' as well. Are they not to listen to the Holy Spirit's calling, just because they may be viewed as being masculine?
