Stop believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus and you are lost.
Except that God does many things for, to, and in the genuine believer so that he or she is never going to stop believing in Christ and His finished work of redemption. So this is merely a theoretical fantasy cooked up by those who have never truly believed. The gift of the Holy Spirit, the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the New Birth themselves guarantee that faith in Christ remains firm and continues for all time. And this is not even the half of it.

Any Christian is able to fall away from that faith in Jesus. You may observe this event, failing faith, happening around the world at present.

Christians that are strongly committed to Jesus Christ, are a very small percentage of the Christian world. Christians that devote themselves to the scripture, to prayer, to fellowship. Are highly unlikely to undergo a faith crises.

No one denies that the Holy Spirit is very active in the Christian life.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of churches are in decline.

You need to address this reality.

To say that they all never believed in Jesus is utter fantasy.

If the judge declares you innocent how does the accused undo the ruling?
Do something that gives the DA new evidence enough to bring you back for a new trial. Read the law and see. There have been more than one case where a person was pronounced not guilty but then confessed later and was prosecuted based on their confession.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Trying to vote your way into heaven. I must admit that's a novel approach. Popular opinion, rather than Jesus and His Gospel are your rule of thumb. All I can say is, "Good luck with that! You'll need it!" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another moronic statement from a mor…

No amount of sin will cause loss of salvation unless one hardens their heart and refuses to repent.
One does not repent of individual sins for salvation, one cannot even know all of one's sins.

We change our mind (repent) from dead our works that can never save to the Work of Jesus and accept it which does Save

Of course you agree with the primary gospel.

Your salvation is a gift and requires your belief in Jesus.

God does not withdraw that gift of salvation from anyone who believes.

Yet, if you do not endure in that belief in Jesus, then you forfeit that salvation yourself.

You must endure!

Matthew 10:22
And you will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.
This verse in context is about physically surviving persecution.

God does not contradict Himself.

"Ye must be born again" is based upon a singular act of faith in Christ Jesus for eternal life upon which God gives the gift of eternal life.

The just shall live by faith.
That is correct we live by faith, but this statement is not regarding the saving faith upon which we were justified by God.

What exactly are you trusting Jesus for? .... earning your salvation, He starts you finish. That is not the Gospel.

You go to Jesus on His terms He states clearly paid in full!

One can stop being faithful but God is also able to chastise and deal with that person.

No born again person can undo the work of God, we can quench the spirit but we cannot undo our status as redeemed, justified and sanctified.

Romans 8:29
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined lto be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be mthe firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also njustified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Yeah, eternal security is too hard for those who think salvation is quid pro quo.

Sentiments like..."I am worthy of the gift as long as I remain faithful"

Absolute disregard for the finished work of Christ.

Why didn't you put the option of::

No. We can lose Salvation by leaving the faith...

You added:: or by committing sins. which most people who believe the first part of the option cannot agree to..
Not our faithfulness that saves, it is the Faithfulness of Jesus.

Why do people want to rob God of His glory, His promises, HIs work, His grace and His love.

So you not think that God was not smart enough to create a fool proof plan of salvation, eternally secure that could triumph against the flesh, Satan and the world?

Once saved, always saved. Jesus has not and will not lose a single one that the Father has trusted in his care. I read that somewhere in the bible.

There is no license to sin, however. Those that are born-again are led to repentance by the Holy Spirit and would feel conviction each and every time they stumble. Even Paul stumbled quite a bit, but God's grace was sufficient for him. It's sufficient for me too and those others that are saved by the shed blood of Jesus dying on the cross for sins, theirs and mine.

Any works performed, by the grace of God are a manifestation of one's standing before the Lord. Says in James that faith without works is a dead faith. even though the works themselves do not save. We are called to serve the Lord for that is our purpose.

I never made a comment on that subject matter whatsoever so I do not know what in the world you are talking about or why you were talking about it to me.
I simply replied to somebody who compared it to Criminal Court. I was referring to his analogy nothing more. If you read things into the Bible the way that you did my statements well... that speaks for itself.

After that single act of faith. Does that mean that verses such as the one below become obsolete?

Now I would remind you brothers, of the Gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:1–2)

What does Paul mean by saying ' if you hold fast to the word I preached to you'?

from the mouth of Jesus, John 14 tells us the Father is dwelling inside Jesus doing the TALKING, and Verses 14 and 15 express if we [[do not]] Forgive others the Father [[will not]] Forgive us.

i would definitely say it is a SIN!
Correct.. And by the Atonement of the LORD Jesus sins are forgiven..

The new covenant needs the two parties to keep their part of the covenant.. The Lord provides salvation and we keep Faith in Him.. We do not rob Jesus of any glory.. Believing Jesus and trusting Jesus is a very light yoke.. But it is something not nothing..
