OK thanks for that reply my brother. But why would you think that he won't repent? Do we just assume that he wouldn't have?
The brother who made that statement was referring to the eternal past, when he sinned, he had a chance then

Psst.. wwjd_kilden is a SISTER, not a brother.. :)

How can we know that Satan never got a chance to repent? The bible is a narrative of MAN'S fall from grace and eventual redemption through Jesus. It's not a compendium on the life and times of the heavenly hosts. Aren't you making a huge assumption based on zero evidence?
Here is my views question no.1. Did Satan get a 2nd chance to Repent?
The only way I can understand and explain in when we consider the Fall of man.
Now, here is Adam & Eve, they have just sinned. (Gn.3:7)

A 2ND CHANCE FOR MAN
After man had sinned, God passed judgement, I see that God had a fear. Fear for what?
We find it recorded in (Gn.3:22) "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: AND NOW, lest he put forth his hand, and take ALSO of the Tree of Life, and eat, AND LIVE FOREVER"
This is what God was so fearful about that man should eat also of the Tree of Life in his sinful condition, and become an ETERNAL sinner.

NO 2ND CHANCE FOR LUCIFER

We should look at the difference in creation. Man was made
imperfect, mortal being while the angels was created perfect eternal beings.
Thus when Lucifer and his angels sinned, they became ETERNAL sinners, and there's absolutely NOTHING that God can do for an eternal sinner.
Should man have become an ETERNAL sinner, what sacrifice is there for an ETERNAL sinner to take away his sin???
Therefore there could be in no wise be a 2nd chance for Lucifer and his angels when they sinned.

In agreement with DCon here!
The devil's fate is sealed!

Whew brother!
No no no....please do not pity the beast of ALL evil!
Hahaha, why do some think that I believe these things.
Now what prayer do you pray for an ETERNAL sinner?
Now Jesus said that ALL sin is forgivable accept for one, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Now if that sin cannot be forgiven in this age and the one to come, what is there to pray for?

I'm hoping that he does repent.
Guys! Satan will not nor can he repent, as his fate is already written in scripture, which must happen just the way that it is written. It is impossible for a truth to be written in the word of God and then for it to not take place, for it would bring the validity of God's word into question. The scriptures below will and must take place and that because it is written:

"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

Regarding the above scripture, notice that the lake of fire was created for Satan and his angels. This would demonstrate that there is no reprieve for them. Jesus became a human being in order to pay the penalty for human's. He had to be kinned to us as a human being, having the same exposure to sin as we do in order for the payment to be genuine and yet he was without sin. In order for Satan and the angels to be saved, Jesus would have to perform some form of salvation for them, on their level. But that could never be and that because without faith it is impossible to please God. Satan and his angels were/are already in the presence of God and therefore, there is no faith needed on their part, already being in his presence. They rebelled against God, with heaven already being their home and being in his presence. Satan and his angels fate was sealed once they rebelled. Furthermore, it is God who gives all believers a measure of faith and is the one who leads us to repentance. The possibility of their forgiveness is not a good thing to suggest or entertain, for unfortunately, there those who believe this very thing.

Do you actually think that Satan could say to God, "Listen, about that usurping-your-throne-thing, no hard feelings? And, oh yeah, I'm also sorry about recruiting a third of all of your angels to rebel against you and all of the people that I have doomed to the lake of fire as well. Not happening!

This is what God was so fearful about that man should eat also of the Tree of Life in his sinful condition, and become an ETERNAL sinner.

You misunderstand the passage because you don't understand the context. Satan used the fruit tree to tempt Adam and Eve into committing the sin of pridefulness. They obviously chose to disobey God by eating the fruit but gained knowledge of both good AND evil. They also lost eternal life because of their pride! God was grieved by that, not threatened. They gained no special powers that would threaten God by eating the fruit.

Good luck with your attempt to garner sympathy for the devil on a Christian forum.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew
unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world,
but was manifest in these last times for you,

What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known,
endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

You realize forgiveness pertains to men not demons?

Mar 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

Whether angel or human, we are all souls, and no soul can look upon God with sin and live. This is why God built an earth for us, so that we can wash away our sins in Christ's blood before we look upon the face of God. Satan however did look upon the face of God, and sinned- which is why he fell from heaven, and why he does not have the option of repenting even if he wanted to- which he don't anyways. His fate is already sealed, as is a third of the angels who fell from heaven- which we now call demons. There remains no hope for them. But we have the privilege of repentance. But that comes with an expiration date- which is a different date for different people.

FREE WILL. It is a choice.
Salvation is given to those who wants to get salvaged (Saved, to be safe forever) and do this in Sincere repentance and to avoid sinning and not doing or going back the old ways (God will make provision or way out, but again it's free will).
HIS THOUGHTS are not our thoughts nor HIS ways are not like our ways.
The CharacterS of Disobeying Spirit IS PRIDE with SELFISH GREED MOTIVES such as: SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS, SELF SUFFICIENCY, all SELF_____. It's a hunger that takes, destroy to take, kill to take, steal to take and it is freely given. If God know that all we do is to take and even "kill" ourselves to kill, steal and destroy to take" since HE gave all leeway all time i.e. like Noah built the Ark and preached for a 100 years to tell them to repent or be destroyed... did anyone listen (besides his family)? 0 NONE. See, it's like cancer... if you know this can kill you and you think and believe it won't and didn't do anything and you party and party and live in denial... 2 to 3 years of denial or even being religious about it.. that THIS IS NOT TRUE if I die I die!!! They just said want to stop my joy... then 3 years past... The cancer took over your inside and you had a fever and laid in bed. Still you are telling everyone, that 'HEY I HAD A BLAST AT LEAST WHILE YOU are still misserable! I can go now... see LOL without regret! And you took your last laughing breath... with open eyes looking at the ceiling, you're gone! It's a choice you made... motivated by PRIDE and engulfed with Narcissistic idea, that others don't matter, only You matters. So If you are God, For God's will is His will (Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven...) He choose people whom He choose to bless... and He choose to bless those who's willing to bless others. It is like Sir Isaac Newton "for every action has an equal and opposite reaction" good or bad. While Murphy said: "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong." Now adays, people say wrong is good but the result can't be good, it's still wrong. So when a person do wrong.. the result is wrong. Because of PRIDE he/she will not ask for SALVATION. Salvation is not automatic, it is from a contrite heart, sorrowful, and repentative heart. Said Pride comes before fall. I heard Celebrities that brags about "will party in Hell" and boast about it. Is that humility or Pride? Can oil be mixed with water? Can a bad person repent? Of course! But can a simple person who is stuck with her or his idea (belief) of GOD IS NOT cus "i am what i am who will not ever change or follow whoever you called The TRUE GOD...for I grew up like this and I am ok with this! and that person is not a bad person but DENY The SOVEREIGNTY AND DEITY OF THE TRUE EL SHADDAI TRIUNE GOD, do you think that person will automatically be saved? So back to your question the answer is deffinitely NO! "The Devil that deceived them (& his advocates) be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the BEAST and the false prophet are (already) and shall bee toremented day and night forever and ever".. this is God's conclussion promise. No one can change His word and no can take or add to it... but if you believe that sun may melt or the stars will fall, or the islands will disappear, they will...it is all written.

Thank you so much for all the replies. I like this site because here is the freedom to disagree. But we shouldn't become mean, insulting, send each other off just like that. I do find a problem here though, we don't ask "why do u make a statement like that", "I don't quite follow you", some just get down each others throat, LOL.

My dear friend, I would like to give you a chance to explain yourself why you say that U hope Satan does repent, instead of condemning you and not having any truth in you. After having all the facts from your opinion, then I would like to give my objections as to what I see in Scripture he won't repent.

ANGELS CREATED ERTERNAL BEINGS
1) Neither can they die any more:
2) for they are equal unto the angels;
3) [ and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.] (Lk.20:36)
Here Jesus plainly said that angels is created eternal beings, not that God has no power to destroy the fallen ones completely, but because chose to make them that way.
We will be equal unto angels, and how will we be equal, we will NOT die. [ETERNAL BEINGS]
Therefore, again I stress my point that angels were created Eternal beings and when some sinned, they became ETERNAL sinners

WHY NO 2ND CHANCE FOR THEM
Scripture is very clear what happens with an Eternal Sinner [pertaining to angels]

(2Pet 2:4 [KJV])
For if God spared not [the angels that sinned], but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
There was NO 2nd chance whatsoever granted to them.

(Jude 1:6 [KJV])
And the angels which kept not [their first estate], but left their own habitation,[I will ascend into heaven (from my habitation, Eden the Garden of God) he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

FOUND NO PLACE FOR REPENTANCE

SIN IMPUTED TO SATAN
It is written concerning the sons man that, "Where there is NO Law, sin cannot be imputed"
If the sin of the fallen angels were imputed to them, then there must have been a law as there is for the sons man.

(Ps 103:20 [KJV])
Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
When Satan said in his heart, I will be like the Most High, what commandment could he possibly have broken but, the very commandment the Blessed Saviour was using to overcome him, that pertaineth to man, "Thou shalt worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve"

When Eve sinned, what commandment did she broke but "Thou shalt NOT covet...." [she saw that the fruit wasgood for food...."]
So the Law of God long existed before it was given on 2 Table of Stone. God implanted it in the conscience of man [The Law of Conscience]
The Law of Conscience was 1st written in The Conscience, then on the Tables Of Stone, and then by the Spirit on the Tables of the Heart.
The Spoken Word of God long existed before men were inspired to bring to us the Written Word.
It is said about the angels of "hearkening unto the voice of His Word. What Word existed in their time but [The Spoken Word]

It's interesting to note that God has control over Satan that is not clear in Scripture. Satan knows Scripture. He knows how it will end up. Why doesn't he just refuse to be the anti-christ incarnate? God has a tug on him that we might not fully understand.

I have often thought that thought brother. Then I'm hit with the fact that myself and others that believe in God and still sin, KNOWING that we shouldn't.

But I think satan is so arrogant, twisted and prideful that he believes he can change the Word of God to fit his ends.

Lucifer will continue to rebel against God. Even though God has declared Lucifer defeated and doomed to eternal condemnation Lucifer will resist till the very end.

Better to die eternally than to humble himself to the will of God.

1) Now a Christian brother said to me that he believe that Satan got a fair chance to Repent and make right with God.
2) It was also said that b4 Satan's fall, he was one of the cherubim on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of Covenant.
3) It was said that sin stared in the Perfect Place called Heaven in the very presence of God.
4) Another brother said that we should pray for the devil since that after all, he's also just human.

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly.....
No.1 that some shall depart from the faith
No.2 giving heed to seducing spirits
No.3 and doctrines of demons" (Tit.4:1)
Hebrews.13:9 warns us, "BE NOT carried about (hither & thither) with various and strange (alien) doctrines..."

Now have we ever wondered why Satan never got the chance to Repent and make right with God, or did he got a fair chance?
If not, what makes them so different from us humans having received Grace?
Mercy and grace is not on offer to the angelic creation. It is only on offer to human beings.
