You and your girlfriend need to get over yourselves....it is just facts....suck it up and bear up under it and be honest with the fact that you both take scriptures out of context to prove your stance........
That would be awesome but I only eat the ice cream made from the milk of a virgin heifer sired by a albino miniature minataur 3 legged bull. Anything else is just impure.

Projecting is very common among narcissists. Liars accuse others of lying. The violent accuse others of being a danger. Like the thieving mafia, thieves sure other thieves, but they offensive thieves, are stealing from them, stealing from somebody else in the thieving mafia a sin: I mean, duh or what? Generally speaking, their sins they project on others, narcissists heavy slanderers, and there's a simple reason for this. The narcissist presumes everybody is like them, as self is all they know and can relate to, so their own faults, naturally, something all inferior beings suffer from, in spades. Accusers are the worst offenders, classic theological example Satan.
I don't hate anyone slice.......I just cant stand it when people use scripture out of context, refuse to acknowledge truth and then fight tooth and nail for their erroneous views.....Your very OP about pride is applicable to you...You took verses applied unto Jesus and John the Baptist and tried to twist it to fit your theology...you were wrong and it is that simple....just acknowledge the truth and all will be well....those who stand with your twist are just as guilty period!
But take a rabbit trail every once and a while. What is your favorite Ice-cream? Can you go dip your finger in it and give me a taste, and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in YOUR flame.
I think you best understand who is said to come in the name of the Lord before you dare lay claim to such a mantle yourself.
]Luke 13, NASB 35"Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!' "
Your farcical statement borders on blasphemy, ISIT, and I know you do not do it intentionally. But your lack of knowledge brings you into great error. Be ware of what claims you make, even in jest. I wouldn't want to make such a claim of myself, if I were you.

If you don't understand the symbolism of the mountains and the valleys in connection with the proud being lifted up in pride and then to be brought down by the Lord. Or the humble being the lowly like a valley, to later be exalted by the Lord, even though I posted a great number of scriptures representing the same, then that's OK. Not all have eyes to see with, or ears to hear what the Spirit is saying there.
But there's no need to get so angry because anger and pride will hinder you from seeing the connection.

On paper we lack many of the nuances of speaking with someone in person, your words, ISIT, do not sound gentle. Do you wonder that they are not well received? The good Shepard does not beat his sheep.
