I tend to agree. Your post sparked something in me namely that if it was just men impregnating women why would that be any thing worth mentioning ,as that's just normal activity. And so men of renown would line up with some type of mutation. They were definitely freaks of nature, and so to me, that completely removes any credibility that it was just men impregnating women

FYI I am not a KJV-only guy you need to stop stereotyping.

Has shown earlier the word Nephelim means mighty men also as sons of God mean Ben elohym = men of flesh.

You need to start at verse 1. because without 1-3 four is unclear. we must address sons of God before we assume nepehilims were created by angels or the offspring of them.

I accept that and thank you for it. Where the bible is silent we are to be also. Yet the text does stand-alone with in the context of why God flooded the whole earth.

Normal activity does not equal the will of God, which is that people of faith not intermarry with outsiders, for the specific reason given that the daughters of men will lead your sons astray from the one true God to serve strange gods, codified as a commandment in Deuteronomy and repeated throughout the OT into the New. Illicit sex with outsiders is also mentioned previously in Numbers, though not specifically in the context of marriage. Say, murder was not commanded against in the first chapters of Genesis yet, either, yet it was/is clearly wrong and the perp punished. <- pre-emptive (LOL) :)

I think some are just stuck on sex with women in the Bible. In doing so they miss the point of Genesis 6 because they fail to read before Genesis 6 to understand the relationship with God before and after the fall.

In properly interpreting the word of God we must look above and below the text for clear understanding

many want to look at JOB, Enoch, and even Jude to make the sex with angels authoritative but will not admit there is no clear cut translation of that and FYI those who cry TORAH read it is English too which is a Tranlation from Hebrew and doesn't say that either.

What we should do is look at chapters 1-5 of Genesis and see if there is any language that describes sons of God or other words that mean the same thing in context to men or angels. Well, there is in fact elohym means gods, angels, and men. The context of where it is used must be taken into consideration as to what best hold the word of God in the meaning the author meant it to mean. i.e authorial intent.


those words that we continue to ignore that reveal revelation of God and man prior to the fall and after.

Before Enoch was "took" by God, "God took" Adam and placed him in the garden Gen 2:15
Before God walked with Enoch, God walked with Adam Gen 3:8.

sons of God were not exclusively to angels only therefore the context must be looked at and how the words are used. also, the word Angel is used in the Old Testament as "angel of the LORD ".

Sons of God, those who walked with God, the Elect of God or Gods Elect, the called-out ones, are all descriptive of man in a relationship with the Lord God. IF we look at Genesis chapter 1 through five it was not angels GOD had issue switch but one.


adam sinned, Cain killed his brother, wickedness of man God flooded the earth, confounding of languages at Babel, the doom of Sodom, all because of man. IF the Genesis 6 account is about angels having sex with women then are angels to blame for the destruction of the earth not the wickedness of man as the word states.

Since no one bit, i will expand upon with meaning.

Why call these offspring [the Fallen Ones], or Nephilim?


Read Genesis 3, 4 and 5 and Matthew 1 and Luke about the Lineage.

So and so begat...SON OF, SON OF, SON OF...

Look at how Jacob explains his God, the God [[of]] Abraham and Isaac

So why are the Fallen Ones in the name of the Nephilim?

Because the they are the Children of the Fallen Noble, which Noble is [[Malach]], which in Hebrew is expressed as (the Hebrew word for messenger), which is ANGEL [מָלַח] < which is found in the Hebrew Version of Bereishit (Genesis) Chapter 6, Verse 4.

There are many unknowable things in the word,allowing the Spirit to reveal is much better than man's thoughts.

The source of evil is man's hearts, again specifically stated in Scripture and contradicted by you.
