It's the enemy using your OCD to make you worry. Everytime you have this fear, try turning around and laughing and saying (to the devil) "Oh, it's only you." (This worked for Martin Luther.)

.........For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10b

The devil is the accuser. He wants you to believe that it is impossible for you to be dave that way you will quit fighting the good fight of faith. Some day the Devil will be cast into hell and will no longer be able to tempt and accuse the Believers.

But God HAS told you there is no reason to fear and no reason to worry. It's everyone in the Bible. God isn't giving you the fear. You're LETTING the fear, and the ocd and gad, and all of that rule your life instead of God. You've just gt to figure out how to get your mind off of it, and that's only something you and God can work out. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you the best way to control it because each of us is different. What exactly are you so afraid of? What is the root to all your fear? Are you ultimately scared of dying? Because all roads lead to death except through Jesus. Nothing on earth can kill you if you are saved. When you die you'll be with your Lord and Savior, so what do you have to fear? So what if you get randomly get HIV from some toilet paper, so what if your moles turn up bad, so what to all of it. YOU are in GOD'S hands, forever and always. All you need to worry about is how you are going to use the limited time you have on earth to serve others.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and for those who have tasted that full knowledge of the truth (emphasis on full) and then turn away, the Bible is clear that there remains no more sacrifice for sins. Satan, having this full knowledge of the truth is such an example. The Bible says that the Devil, if possible can deceive even the elect! That's why every matter of sin except this blasphemy is forgivable. Those who teach the word of God is held accountable for it. The Bible says that anyone who breaks even the least of the commandments and teaches men to do so will be called least in the kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit Is given to to perfect us in God's love, because perfect love cases out fear. I will say that if you are still wanting to have the Spirit in your life, then you have not blasphemed Him. Only someone who hates God could do that.

So basiclly satan commited the unforgivable sin?
well, no, because Satan never had the Holy Spirit. Satan must stand against the Holy Spirit because it is convicting the world that he is judged already. Everywhere Satan turns he finds the Holy Spirit convicting the world that he is going to spend eternity in the lake of fire.

I think that you just need to ask Him yourself, and see what He says. He is actually very gentle and kind, and cares for us much more than we know.

How I always have viewed this topic is this example....being raised a jw, jw's are taught that all other religions are false religions and under the control of Satan the Devil....that is blasphemy, saying that when people get saved by the holy spirit, it is satan the devil masquerading as the holy spirit.

hello,

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come(Matthew 12:31-32).

You can speak out against the Son which is the flesh, the man Christ Jesus ,and it shall be forgiven you but if you speak out against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven you not only in this world but in the world to come.

Let us define what blashemy against the Holy Spirit is.Blashemy against the Holy Spirit is when you call God evil in whatever manner when God is a good God.

It says in the last days perilous times will come and says that they will be blasphemers.

Do you notice how many people today say God is punishing them compared to years ago. That is blasphemy against the Spirit because God is not punishing anybody.Anything that says God is evil is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

The truth is that God only touches people for good and never evil.We are under grace so God is not punishing anybody on this earth but judgment for people that do wrong is postponed until the great white throne judgment.
The love that Jesus showed while on this earth is the same love that applies now.God never touches people for evil but only good.God lets things run their natural course and only touches people for good if they want.Things go wrong because people do not follow God so they do not have His protection but God will never touch them for evil if they do wrong.

What did you do that makes you think you blasphemed against the Spirit. If you said you hate God or blame God for your life not going as you want that is blasphemy against the Spirit because you would be calling God evil.

Call God good and ask God to forgive you of any blasphemies whether you remember them or not or whether you think you did or not.

hello,

Satan is doomed and cannot ever repent.Devils can never be right with God because they are a spirit. The reason that people can be saved is because all sin resides in the flesh and the flesh can be put off and have a glorified body for those that do right with God.A spirit can never be saved because when they mess up in arrogance it stays with them and cannot be put off.

That is why God made us in the flesh so that we have a chance to be saved because all sin resides in the flesh.God said there is no good thing that dwells in the flesh. The flesh will always be arrogant and selfish. The spirit goes back to God no matter how the person on earth acts. The spirit in us can never be tainted with sin and is our connection with God.The soul makes the decision between the flesh or spirit.
That is our choice between good and evil.

Matt

Okay so does this count? I wasn't trying to do it but it just happened.... Okays, so I was in chruch today someone was saying that God or the Spirit was moving in that places tonight, well pretty much after that there was some part in my mind(I don't think it's a part that can be controled or not) but anyway it said that "There's a move in my pants" o_O Does that count as blasphemy of the Spirit?

But then again if I really commited that sin... Would God have basiclly appoited me to learn how to use a sound board I think it was called for chruch use?

Okay, so I'm worried that I did that. But I'm curious, if I really did do it. Wouldn't I have totally lost contact with the Holy Spirit? I mean it feels like my connection with is pretty weak(Like usual), but he's still there. I would absolutely want scriptures to support your answers...
Hey, dothackzero. I've been through the same thing before. Naturally, I ended up doing a ton of research on the subject because I was greatly troubled. Just let me say that 1. there is only one unforgivable sin, 2. blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is unforgivable and is a sin, 3. the only sin people are sent to Hell for is unbelief, 4. it is the Holy Spirit which shall raise us from the dead, 5. unbelief is calling the Holy Spirit a liar and that is like comparing the Holy Spirit to Satan - the father of lies. In summary blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can only be committed by your heart - not by your mouth. You can curse at God but doing so may only mean you're mad at him. It doesn't mean you believe he's evil or that Satan is better. It's a heart issue - not a verbal issue. If you would like passages to go along with my research then I could try digging them up for you.

Another thing to keep in mind is that our standard of morality and what we believe should be based on the Scriptures - not on feelings or our conscience. The Bible says the heart is deceitful. Why then should we rely upon it to lead us to the truth through feelings? Also, my conscience has been very condemning of me before when in the end the thing I was doing was not at all contradictory to the Bible. So, don't ever trust your feelings. You can rely upon gut-feelings to a certain extent. But always back it up with research. Hope this helps, my man.

Never mind... The Message version of the Bible explains it pretty well...

Matthew 12:22-32 (The Message)
31-32"There's nothing done or said that can't be forgiven. But if you deliberately persist in your slanders against God's Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives. If you reject the Son of Man out of some misunderstanding, the Holy Spirit can forgive you, but when you reject the Holy Spirit, you're sawing off the branch on which you're sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.

One of the really horrible symptoms of OCD is called 'checking'. It is an attempt to sooth anxiety by checking irrational fears with other people. I know you are having a hard time managing your OCD right now, but checking with others only brings about 1/4 of the relief you are looking for and only for a minute, until your mind dismisses it.

What I am saying is that this is not a long term management option for you. Are you seeing a counselor and using medication?
