So you are telling me that you never commit any sin what so ever.
You never are angry at someone, and express it wrongly.
You never want anything that is not yours or that you don't have.
You never lie by commission or omission.
You never drive over the speed limit, because breaking the laws of man is also sin per the scriptures, obey every ordinance of man.
You use all your time perfectly wisely.
You never have fear, or act impatiently.
you never speak harshly. I have seen you use all caps in this forum which is the text equivalent of yelling.
you never have a little too much wine.
you never eat too much.
or look to long at a pretty woman.

i think you are a liar, and this is my scripture evidence.
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
1 John 1:8‭-‬10 NASB

Here the writer is speaking to Christians saying, if "we" (we being Christians) say we have no sin, "we" ( said same Christians) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
The truth is only in the Christian. And if you deny your sins as a professing Christian your not even a Christian, per the writer.
1st off john who is the writer btw is not talking 2 Christians, hes talking 2 the gnostics 1st off lets get dat right!! hes dismantling their theology, not gonna go into detail, u can look dat up!!

2nd where in the bible does it say being angry is a sin? God is angry with the wicked everyday!!

using time wisely? wat dat mean!! now ur just making ur own sins up that's ur problem!! ur straining at the nat and swallowing the camel

listern man I don't do none of those things!! I don't drive, I don't drink any alchahol , and I don't lust iver, I take every imaginative thought captive just like the bible says in 2 corith 10:5 remember its not the looking its where and how long that's the problem.

u see the problem is uv been listerning 2 too many fake pulpits and catholic teachings!! don't tie me with the same brush as you!! just because u struggle with something doesn't mean everyone else does also.

writing in "CAPITALS" is not a sin, another accusation ur trina make up against me!!

problem is you just don't wanna give up ur sin coz u love it too much!! deal with ur sin don't hava go at me!! if u really love God ud stop sinning!! not saying its easy but cant u do all things thru Christ who strengthens you? phil 4:13 hav a look at ur prayer life man also!!

This guy is beyond lazy. His command of English is beneath elementary level; why would anyone think his command of Scripture is any better?

Grace doesn't give us a license to sin; rather it makes us keenly aware of how wretched sin is, and why Christ chose to humble Himself to the extend that He did.

(y)
exactly!! people just don't get it but instead of dealing wiv their sin they just rather point the finger, the Pharisees were the same, blame others coz its easyer dan dealing wiv their sin, its convenient 4 dem!! dis is why we need saving!! its dis carnal attitude dat wants 2 shift the blame onto others rather dan take responsibility 4 their own wrong doings!!

Many people in churches today especially the cultic denominations like the catholic church and the watch tower group think that people are born sinners and not only that but even think they have a sinful nature that they can nether eradicate and that all the can do is just (strive) along and hope for the best and if they sin weather wilfully or unwilfully they can just ask God for forgiveness each time and it will be ok. This is wats been taught in most churches 2day people.

Catholics think that babies are born sinners!! Its why they sprinkle babies with water, if that’s the case den why does jesus say in matt 18:3 you must become like a little child to enter into heaven, in other words babies are innocent.

How can a baby be a sinner? They barely have the capacity to even think let alone even move and yet their supposed have the understanding of wat sin is. Sin is not innate, its not done on impulse, sin is a choice acted out upon our free will.

Sin is a premeditated thing which also has to be thought out, its deciding to or not 2 do something iver way the person doing it has an understanding of wat their doing. Yes we have inherited the carnal nature and incorruptible flesh from our ancestors but that’s not a licence. Sin is a choice, we can always choose to or not to regardless of our canal nature!!

Jesus said to the adulterer (Go and sin no more) john 8:5-11 was he commanding the impossible? Not according 2 deu 30:11 my commandments are not far from you. Not according 2 1 corith 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability.

Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Our obligations nether exceed our abilities if so then It would be unfair for God to command something that we couldn’t achieve.

Couple of verses from excuses city that people like to use substantiate why they cant stop sinning. Pslam 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. and Psalm 58:3 Even from birth the wicked go astray;
from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.

First off dis is poetic literature. The word psalm means hymn or song and in many of the chapters ull see the word (salah) which means next verse of a hymn or next paragraph. Many of the poetic books like psalms, proverbs, ecclesiastes and sos!! Are full of pithy’s and imaginative text. meaning their not to be taken literally but as a general truth, or piece of wisdom.

Also jewish poems are different then say English poems. English poems are mainly about rhythm and rhyming. But jewish poems use wats called synthetic parallels which I can get into later.

Book of pslams was written by david at the most part at terrible times of his life. Like for instances this is the same person who got his best friend killed and then slept with
his wife, was punished by God and had his child die. And his best friend and even his own son wanted to kill him. Pslam 51:5 was written at a time where david had done a lot of backsliding, this was a time of sorrows and he was crying out 2 God for forgiveness.

So I don’t think this is a book that you wanna use for moral instruction and to formulate a doctrine from as opposed to a lot of the books in the NT they are more literal based.
Dude what's wrong with you? We aren't born sinners? What? Yes we are born sinners, even the most new, cutest, smallest, little baby is born disconnected from God, just like ALL men save not 1. So who is born without sin?

His poor grammer isn't laziness, it's snarky mockery. He is attempting to belittle the folks with whom he is speaking.

:) 1st John, Context. "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. "

Did we notice the words "WE"? If WE claim to be with out sin. Hmm John using the word "WE". ALWAYS read above and below.

If you ever wonder about "Children" and evil fallen nature. Just (with a woman friend) go to any day care. These "children/babies" well show you their true nature of which NO ONE taught them. And kind of hard for GOD to hold them accountable for something they have no clue what so ever about. That age I do believe starts .. but exactly where I do not know.

Its ALL of the word. What about Paul? The things I want to do I don't do. The things I don't want to do I do. Its no longer I that sin but sin that is in me. In me? We that are born from above (born again) are a NEW creation which after God IS created in righteousness and true holiness. No where in Gods word does it say the FLESH has been changed. Christ was tempted in everything as we are.

Being "sinless" ok so what? Means nothing. Sinning all the time? Again so what? What gets one in, through Christ is as He said John 3 16. He said I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the Father but by me.

And Christ telling some to go and sin no more.. means what? That some how proves "no sinful nature" "no original sin"? :D

Original sin. How odd that the sons of Adam (if no sinful nature) never sinned yet.. they had no right what so ever to enter that garden. How odd that Cain killed his bother. WHERE in the world did that desire thought come from? Shall we go on? What did Satan tell Jesus or tempt Jesus with? What was given/handed to him that he could give it to whom ever he wanted? Wait.. I have never found where GOD gave Satan this world and the rest. How in the world did he get it?

Christ to His own "you being evil". Huh? Christ "you are of your father the devil". How can that be? They themselves did not believe that nor want it. Gee what does GOD see understand that we can't. And then to freely ingnor the rest of the word that talks about this fallen nature in us... well praise GOD.

Yet this still comes back to asking you "who are you? Who knows you? How long have you walked in what you believe?" They they/we would all go pray for a long time. Strange you don't know this. There are men and women of God we would listen give weight to their word. IF this was coming from the late Billy Graham. We know him. We know just what he believes. Same with David Wilkerson or John Macarthur. So forth so on. Yet you like me are no one. My personal belief is NOT Gods word. And I have no right what so ever to tell anyone what GOD really said. He does this. HE is true.. HE is truth no me.

And love... to live this out everything said and done is in vain. Praise GOD glory to Jesus

its coz God cursed A&E
you should read Genesis 3, if you never have.
if you have, you should read it again.

you will not find Adam being cursed, and you will not find Woman / Eve being cursed.

you will find the Satan cursed. you will find that God cursed the ground '
for Adam's sake.'

Adam & Woman / Eve were judged, but nowhere does it say they were cursed.

That's interesting. They were cursed as in "thou shall surely die" for violating the word but the rebuke is directed toward Satan .The new god of this worlds government . That some call one world government that turns the things of God upside down as if they were inspired from earth..The kind of world we live in.

I have been looking at the idea of why in those cases he Lord rebuked Satan and not his messengers .

Like with Peter when he blasphemed the name of our father in heaven .He working though His Son giving Jesus words to say said to Peter get behind me Satan. the proper order that got confused in the garden .Peter was forgiven of his blasphemy.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

It would seem the same kind of mind set. Like when Jesus said if I do not go the comforter will not come. No power is given to the messenger .

The glory goes to the unseen, the source of faith. Even the Son of man, Jesus refused to stand in that holy place as a abomination of desolation.

well, there are curses spoken in this passage, but man is not called cursed; i don't think it would be wise for me to call man cursed when God doesn't.
so if the judgement of Adam & Eve is not a curse, what is it? they receive it from Him, and He covers them with a bloody garment, made from a slain innocent. i think it leads us to where we should ask, is the chastening of the Lord a curse or is it a good thing? is His judgement good or not?

but Satan isn't being chastened, and he isn't even allowed to speak at the 'court' in the garden, and he is called cursed. everything God does is good - the cursing of Satan and of the ground is good; it is for the good of those who believe.

Jesus would not allow them to make Him an earthly king, but He received worship without rebuking those who worshipped Him.
