If we were brothers in Christ, you would not be disruptive.
Yet your not guilty of anything

are you ever going to look I the mirror and stop blaming everyone else?

New Testament commandments are not "works of the law". That is where you are mistaken.
A work is a work is a works

not of works lest anyone should boast

paul is not talking about works of the law in ephesians. Nor in titus 3 5 (works of righteousness, or good deeds)

your mistaken if you think any work will save you

Preach that works are a result of faith?
This is the part I mentioned in my post where I said you revert to saying its descriptive. You did just that.

If we do that, then you come back at us with "Well how much fruit? How much works?"

You will always say it is works salvation if any form of obedience is involved. All the excuses you can keep piling it on and trying to discredit what the Bible says to justify how 90% of the Bible is just worthless commandments no one can obey and they are there to show us our sin and lead us to Christ and nothing more and nothing less. No real cleansing ever happens people remain dead in their sins but are declared righteous and God is playing peek-a-boo with sin pretending it doesn't exist while people remain rotten and in many cases often behave worse than unbelievers.

They call this "positional righteousness" while the Bible says He who DOES what is right, is righteous. It is always about deeds done in faith. Hebrews has an entire chapter on faith, and it is never sitting around saying not of works, it is always hearing what God says and doing it. God says build an ark, you build it, that is faith and that is the example given of faith in the Bible.

Works salvation is working to earn or maintain or prevent from losing salvation

you want to pump your chest as the pharisees go ahead.

me, I got on my knees like the tax collector and gave it all to christ

Bible teaches a works based salvation then. Everything he quoted is from the Scriptures.
Eg was addressing more than just the original post. He was addressing the person who posted it after many previous interactions. (the bible does not teach a works based salvation)

The Bible mentions over and over about keeping the commandments, living Holy
Not in order or gain or maintain salvation. Only the righteousness of Jesus Himself can justify us before God. (this is imputed by grace through faith)

yet we are just told not of works and that mantra has destroyed an entire generation and now the Church is largely a joke and no one takes it seriously, it is equivelant to a social club with religious slang.
No mantra has caused this, the tares are tares in every generation.

I know the game plan is to preach disobedience unto salvation
Who's gameplan? Who preaches TO disobey?

then claim you are not doing so and when confronted with Scripture you revert to "Those texts are descriptive of a true believer".
What? You're off on a self speaking rant...

Then if we agree with that and say a true believer must bear fruit, you will again flip on the antinomian switch and claim we are preaching works salvation or Calvinism.
Do you believe faith is a fruit?

Do you think a certain amount of FRUIT is required for salvation?

How can one bare fruit if they are not yet Christs?

It just does not work unless it is the "Jesus paid it all, so I can sin some more" message. That is the best one going. I can love the world, I can sin and God will just take me home early,
Never seen this message on this site.

Born again believers want to conform to Gods will and He provides growth and lessons and encouragement and discipline, chastening.....

We don't WANT sin even when our flesh tempts us. This is something that is not what a new heart justifies as OK.

Didn't read anymore... just looked like a bunch of strawmen all the way through.... not an ounce of fruitful or genuine information...

Your conscience will bear witness, either accusing you or excusing you. Romans 2v15.

Irrespective of the argumentation here and on these forums, there will be no getting away from the above fact. If you think OSAS will save you, your conscience will bear witness to this. So for example, if you believe in OSAS yet continue in willfull sin, the conscience of this person will always be a nagging factor. Inherently sin is contrary to the nature of God's own people, and repentance flows out of conviction.

Lest you have your consciences seared (1 Tim 4v2), a very dangerous place to be.
I believe that is why these people are so hung up on the basics of the faith. Almost every thread is about salvation because they are busy "battling" works salvation. They are more so trying to convince themselves than others that yes this is how it is. We just believe this new doctrine and if we just believe this check-list of doctrines we will be okay!

I have heard some say that it is actually satan accusing you when you sin and you feel "I am not really saved" when in actuality it is the Holy Spirit convicting you of sin telling you to repent. If you never do, a seared conscience will be the result. Sad way to end up. The excuses we make to get away from obedience to the Word.

Already did what I said in the post, "Its descriptive" That is all you have to offer. I ask the same questions which is why are the Churches so rotten if believers do not want to sin? Why is the New Testament filled with warnings? Spare me the Calvinist "the means to persuade the elect" drivel.

Utterly sickening the excuses and so called questions to not address the truth.

You do it in every sermon. Every time you say a born again believer gets taken home early if they sin you are promoting sin

Every time you say you can never out sin God's grace by quoting where sin abounds grace abounds even more, you are promoting sin.
Every time you say we can sin and not die, you are promoting sin.
Every time you twist 1 Coritnhians 6:9-11 which I have seen YOU personally do, you are promoting sin. You are saying it is OK to sin as much as you please and you will remain saved. That is what people will walk away from the sermon with. Hey i've been washed by the blood of Jesus so none of these sins are applied to me anymore, great! The gnostic heresy.

When confronted, you twist and twirl and go back to the "its descriptive, no born again believer wants to sin, their life is not characterized by sin, we never said that" the usual excuses and lies.

We have heard it all before, and anyone who is awake will not fall for it. Then again most OSAS believers are also cessationists, so the Holy Spirit is not dealing with them to begin with due to them quenching the Spirit.

I will not be responding to your falsehoods unless something new is presented. If it is the same circular excuses I have already responded to and the same kind of "Yea hath God said?" questions as "OneofHis" just tried to pull on me I will not be interacting with you. I already said the truth and it shall stand.

One of us is not a new creation in Christ.
1 Corinthians 14
20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

However?

38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

Do you know what it means to be born again?

Are you aware there are tares mixed in the wheat?

You're all over the place making no sense at all.

I can point to many wicked works salvationists who profess Christ and feel safe so long as they "repent"...🙄

Then continue doing the same thing.

What you're doing is falsely taking the true doctrine of eternal security then acting as if real sons of God who trust in this are the same as some random examples you have in your mind.

By the world I get opposition for standing for truth and hating what God hates.... and by the self righteous I get paired with the world....

You aren't at all genuine when you use such broad strokes for people you don't even know...

I pray God opens your eyes.....

Dude

unless your perfect you deserve hell, how you workers refuse to see this is beyond my imagination.

stop excusing your sin and thinking your ok, because according to moses, paul, James and CHrist, your not.

fall on your knees and call out to God, to either take you back to your first love if you were saved, or to save your eternal soul if your not saved

Certainly not the works of man that can never save, but rather an appeal for the Holy Spirit to work in all our hearts.

This is the problem with strawmen arguers!
They "lean" so heavily on "Salvation by grace through faith?"
It isn't long until, until they actually believe that they can obtain spiritual maturity, by doing nothing else!
It's the lament of the OSAS!
Which they use as their banner!
