Just wondering if you copied that statement from EG that you show him quoted in. Could be he edited it out after you posted it. But, not sure how all that works here.
I copied and pasted from a posting. LOL why should I make it up.? I was attacking the statement NOT the speaker. I am not in to attacking anyone, only what they say. Maybe it was taken out by the mods.

Why should I attack EG. He is pseudonym. As such he means nothing to me one way or the other.

I leave out the markers.

But you are fooling people. Why should I attack you personally? You are a pseudonym, nothing more nor less. As such you mean nothing to me as I mean nothing to you.

I copied what was there. I was interested in the statement not the person. If someone had put it up in your name I apologise.

It certainly seems to have been deleted.

You're certainly trying the grace of God.

Well, I don't want you to think I was attacking you bro, just wondering, and don't think you just made it up either. Have never seen you make up what someone has said before.

Thank you for your confidence. I have NEVER made anything up on here. I answer the posts. LOL I couldn't be bothered to read EGs posting. It was all nonsense anyway. I merely exposed his (or someone else's posing as his) statement.

Is Romans 9 really hard?

Not to me, or to those who agree with me. However, to the rest it appears to be Greek.............

Not to me, or to those who agree with me. However, to the rest it appears to be Greek.............
Rom9 is quite clear. It teaches God's sovereign choice in human destinies after the Fall, as do the following:

Th 2:13-14 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, whereunto He called you through our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 1:3-8 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before Him in love: having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved, in Whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence.

Eph 1:11-12 in Whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of his will; to the end that we should be unto the praise of His glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:

Rom 8:28-30 And we know that to those that love God all things work together for good, even to those that are called according to His purpose. For those whom He entered into relationship with beforehand (proginosko, NOT prooida) He also foreordained to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren: and whom He foreordained, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.

2Ti 1:9-10 Who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal, but has now been manifested by the appearing of our Saviour Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel,

1Pe 1:1-2 to the elect – according to God the Father entering into relationship with them beforehand, in sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

Rom 9:15-16 For He says to Moses, 'I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.' So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God Who has mercy.

Rom 9:18-23 So then He has mercy on whom He will, and whom He will He hardens. You will say then to me, 'Why does He still find fault? For who withstands His will?' No but, O man, who are you who replies against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why did you make me thus? Or has not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel to honour, and another to dishonour? What if God, willing to show His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: and that He might make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy, which He before prepared unto glory.

Rom 11.7 Those who were chosen obtained it and the rest were hardened

Acts 13.48 As many as were ordained to eternal life believed

That's what the Scripture say's, 2 Pe.3:5 there was a earth age before this one, Jer.4:19-28 God destroyed the first world age because of satans revolt, Gen.1 was the recreation of the earth after it was destroyed, in verse 28 God said replenish the earth or repopulate, the Gap is not a theory, it does not say how long the gap was. god bless

The contest of II Peter 3:5 is about the coming of the Lord and the earth from it's creation, the judgement of the flood and the judgement to come in fire.

“They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God,6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.”

And Jeremiah 4:19-28 is speaking of the same thing, creation and the earth after the Lord judged it in the flood. look at 23-27 “I looked on the earth, and behold, it was without form and void; and to the heavens, and they had no light.24 I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, and all the hills moved to and fro.25 I looked, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the air had fled.26 I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.27 For thus says the Lord, “The whole land shall be a desolation; yet I will not make a full end.”

Genesis 1:2-4
“The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.”

Jeremiah 4:27 "yet I will not make a full end." II Peter 3:7
“But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, are reserved until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.”

The earth was not made a full end or destroyed, because it is being reserved until the day of judgement. It does not say that an earth that existed before was destroyed. I know there are people that believe that there was an earth that existed before the creation account in Genesis 1:2 and those souls are who the demons are, I do not know if that is what you believe, but there are those that believe that.
