The sabbath did not change. But your understanding of it is based upon TRADITION. Jesus didn't go to the synagogue every 7th day because of the law. He went because it was the TRADITION of the land at that time to gather on that day to worship.

I read the message of these words of our Lord a bit differently than some of the other posters read it. I don't think they cancel out or change the law of the Sabbath at all. However, there is another powerful law, it is the law of love. That law is found in every law God ever gave us. If we stop doing something that could express this law of love and put the law of the Sabbath ahead of the principle of love behind that law, we are misusing Sabbath. An example of this is picking grain when they were very hungry. They were using man made additions to the Sabbath law, anyway. But to say God would want them to be hungry instead of picking grain was not following the spirit of the law of the Sabbath, given in love. The Sabbath is given for man in love. While keeping the law of love in mind, we are to obey the law of the Sabbath.

i just like watching exercises in futility. I mean the only 'major' denomination and I use major loosely here, that believes in saturday worship is the SDA. Unless you are a prideful enough group to think you're the only ones that have it right, maybe you should be like, huh why does everyone else seem to know something we don't?

As I said before the fact that you keep responding shows that you are thinking about it. Truth is not about numbers. Most Christians may go to church on the first day of the week But that does not mean that is the truth. God's truth has always been in the minority not the majority, read the Bible and you will find this to be true.
