You are correct that it was according to the Pharisees. According to the original law, tabernacles were built on a Sabbath day that God instituted through Moses. Jesus didn't break the law of His own Father, he broke a distorted law that wasn't written by God, but was written by the scribes and Pharisees who didn't understand the spiritual concepts that were pure and true from the beginning.
Leviticus 23:39-40.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.[SUP]
40 [/SUP]And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
Put this together with..
"For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his." Hebrews 4:10
The Sabbath has always been a day to do God's works for our benefit, not our works. Jesus healing on the Sabbath was God's work.

yahshua never worked on the sabbath -- yahshua always did the work of the father no matter what day it is/was.
he didn't consider it a problem. he said it was disobedient and gives a severe penalty for not listening to yahweh.....
and yahweh says that honoring the sabbath is the sign (or a sign) of his people, even more so in the last days (we are in ).

I recognize the scripture you are referring to (John 5:43-47)
Is it not amazing and revealing that those who quote Paul to debunk parts of God's Word, are demanding of themselves to do just the opposite of what Paul ministered about himself?
1 Corinthians 9:19-21

Gal 5:2-5
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Being circumcised binds a man to keep the whole Law. Observing the Sabbath of necessity binds a man to keep the whole Law. Those who see observance of the Sabbath and of the Law a necessity for salvation are thus cut off from Christ. They have fallen from grace.
