I gathered my verses on a TOPIC that HE brought to my mind for that specific week, studied them, prayed for spiritual guidance to Teach them, and TRUSTED HIM TOTALLY TO GIVE ME EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTED ME TO SAY IN THAT SERMON. AND HE WAS FAITHFUL TO GIVE ME THE WORDS EVERY SINGLE TIME! It blew me away with AWE to see HIS ability to use me as I totally submitted to HIM, becoming filled with the spirit as I spoke for 45 minutes to an hour every sermon. I know this sounds strange, but at times as I delivered HIS Sermons, it was so good, even I wanted to take notes. One thought came back to me every time I considered writing out a sermon, "If it works, don't try to fix it, dummy!" One of my Grandfather's favorite expressions.

I was raised Lutheran, and NEVER ONCE heard a sermon explaining born again; and did not even know what kind of label to put on it, when it happened to me. It was after a third attempt at suicide within the same week, when I fell on my knees weeping over a sense of utter sinfulness. That guilt burden was over my whole lifestyle, and was more than I could bare anymore. I cried out to the LORD, "Lord forgive me! If you have a purpose for my life, then you are going to have to come into it and run my life, because I can't do it! I am making a total mess of it." To make a long story short, I was willingly surrendering complete control of my life to Jesus Christ; and NO ONE EVER TAUGHT ME TO PRAY LIKE THAT in the Church I was raised in.

The first change in my life that I noticed after that night was an intense hunger to be taught the Word of GOD and the ten minute sermons at the Church I was raised in, just were not feeding that hunger. I started Church hopping looking for a Bible Teaching Church, and ended up in an Evangelical Free Church for a couple years, with 45 min. sermons, and then I found Indian Hills Community Church, a non-denominational evangelical type Church with one hour sermons. FINALLY I WAS BEING FED THE WORD OF GOD with a generous serving of spiritual food. We moved a lot over the years, but I was always able to find a Bible Teaching Church in every community that we moved to.

Many denominations do teach Born Again, but I am not surprised that you have not heard of it. Please pray about it, instead of just dismissing it, simply because you have never heard of it. We just agree and yet do not agree, you mand believe and so do I anmd we both will stand one day at the throne to have our Judgement and some works will burn up and others will not. Yet we both go through that same fire that burns up all the dross burns us up if we are not beleivers

I guess you read that too fast and missed that ALL OF THOSE HE GAVE THE POWER TO BECOME SONS OF GOD, WERE BORN AGAIN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. SPIRIT gives birth to spirit (John 3:6); hence the Holy Spirit brings or births our human spirit into Eternal Life.

Why would you call Paul a liar ?

Those Christ died for are saved/ made Righteous solely by His Obedience, the obedience of one ! Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.[/B]

If you are made Righteous you are saved and will end up here Matt 13:43

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

That's what the obedience of One accomplished. You don't believe that do you ?

God did not say that I said it as an admonition, in love, but look you threw back the whole bible at me but thanks they are all good scriptures. God bless
