Here is the passage:

9 When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12 He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called the name of that place, “The Lord will provide”;[b] as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”[c]

15 And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven 16 and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his[d] enemies, 18 and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

A. for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son
B. because you have done this
C. I will surely bless you

Abraham obeyed God because Abraham believed the One who spoke to him would fulfill His part of the promise as long as Abraham did the same.
If you believe that Abraham did what he did because God "saved" him, please quote your verse.
Also, surmising is not quoting.
Do you believe that before God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son God already knew what Abraham would do?

Because if you believe God knew beforehand then your post makes no sense.

He is now so it's a mute point because we know that the Captives have been set free.
Regardless if it is a moot point, was Abraham "saved" simply because of his belief that God would fulfill His promise? Was Abraham's obedience in anyway part of God's plan?

God chose Abraham to be the father of many nations so God already knew what Abraham would do before Abraham knew what he would do.

Regardless of what you or I think, this is the verbiage used in the Bible.

A. for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son
B. because you have done this
C. I will surely bless you

God knows all things, past, present and future. But this does not allow us to ignore what is clearly written in scripture.
I will admit that there are things I don't fully understand but "because you have done this" is rather clear.

Agree, but Abraham's works justified himself before God.

James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

After the cross, the believer is not justified by works, but by the faith of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Do you have a passage that states this? Was not God testing Abraham to see if he feared God?
Fair question, I will let you know what I find.
On the question of God testing Abraham, the verbiage does imply this.
