What Scripture actually teaches about Christians is this:

Ephesians 2:1-5 "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. "

We were (past tense) dead, but we have been saved.
I said most "Christians" you know as well as I do that most so called "Christians" are false professors. Every Roam Catholic, Mormon, SDA, Orthodox and thousands of other cults and sects call themselves "Christian". I'm glad to have cleared that up for you so now you know.

Yes,

There is now, and I believe has always been religions which claim the name of the Christ, but His Spirit is not directing them. We are in the New Covenant, we don't need preachers to filter the Word anymore. Sadly, many folks like it that way. It's much easier to let someone else "Seek the Kingdom" for them.. Jeremiah prophesied of this exact same thing.

Jer. 5:
26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.

28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.

29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

30 A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;

31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
let me translate this- what studyman is really saying ' I know everything there is to know about the Bible, and I have no need nor will I be taught anything by anyone else".

just be man enough to say what you really mean. those of us who interact ( prove you wrong ) with you already know that is what you think.

Here are a few quotes from you that tell the real story...

“The rest of us sheep including yourself don't have that gift” (post 127)

“most "Christians" are offended by Gods Word so your not alone” (post 141)

“You obviously worship in a false Church that doesn't preach the Word of God.” (post 183)

“You obviously don't even know what a Church is supposed to do,” (post 183)

“You're in the same boat as those blind self appointed experts who came up with 40,000 sects and cults” (post 186)

“You want to be your own shepherd” (post 205)

“You all went and read the Bible using your fallen carnal and sinful minds and you came up with thousands of stupid assumptions” (post 208)

“You obviously don't believe in the God of the Bible, so it's obvious you serve the god of mammon.” (post 223)

I could go on, but I have adequately proved the error of your claim.
The truth hurts doesn't it, that's why sinners like those who don't like the truth crucified Christ

The truth is that you are a false accuser, Danny.
That's a cheap cop out, you have nothing but the bitterness that comes with being exposed as a false professor

Here is the full, unaltered text of your previous post:

Everyone will be judged according to what they have done. Faith without works is dead, just as most Christians are dead in their sins and trespasses. Works are the fruits of faith, which you received by grace. If you don't bare fruit it's a sure sign that you're not saved but self deceived.
As you can see for yourself, you did not put quotes around the word, "Christians". Nor did you suggest anything about people who merely claim to be Christians.

Save your snarky comments until after you check your facts.

And just what is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Danny? Give it to us as you understand it. About a paragraph will do nicely.

You don't need to think very hard to realize that I used the word Christian in the lose sense, i usually use quotes around the word Christian but I'm sick of using quotes every time. It's obvious the word doesn't mean what it once did, today it means so many different things to different people. The best word for Gods people is Elect

I don't need a sentence, one word is enough and you know it. The Gospel says that you are saved if you BELIEVE, nothing more is required

Yada yada yada. Apparently you're old enough to be a man. Perhaps it's time to act like one. You can start by taking responsibility for your words... including the punctuation when they are written. Regardless of what you intended, if your written word doesn't accurately reflect it, and you double down instead of humbly admitting your mistake, you're in the wrong.

Hmmm, I don't see anything about "tithing" in that... which is refreshing. What shall we believe, though? That the moon is made of green cheese? In the flying spaghetti monster? That following the OT Law is required for salvation?

I didn't see the flying spaghetti monster in the Gospel but you obviously find all kinds of Satanic things in it

All i do is hold the light of the Gospel on your claims and it exposes you every time and then you get angry of' course. It's exactly what I expected from you because I know exactly what kind of person you are.

Would you like me to affirm you in you errors and sins, you would like me then

And once again, you're making accusations like a prepubescent boy. How old are you.. really?

Are you so completely incapable of answering a simple question? In what should we believe?

Angry? The pathetic and error-ridden bluster of an overage child does not inspire anger, but rather pity. Meanwhile, there is clear evidence of anger on your part, because you have used "Angry" icons in response to my posts in this thread. You have not presented the gospel in a manner consistent with what is in Scripture.

"Tithing" is not part of the gospel. I'm sorry that you've fallen into believing that. I still recommend that you leave that cultic congregation and find one where the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached.

I have to rebuke you as a false prophet. My pastor warned me about your kind, you make the Bible say whatever you want it to so it suits your sinful life style
