Hosea 3:4 says Israel will be without a king and sacrifice etc for a LONG TIME and after that seek the Lord and fear Him in the ....... LATTER DAYS!
Why do you think that this text is about our era and not about Hosea' era?

I do not believe the 144,000 number based upon all the facts listed about the 144,000.......I personally believe the 144,000 were all boys under the age of 2 murdered by Herod in all the coasts of Israel, in the place of JESUS as martyrs......they are called the first fruits, follow the Lord where ever he goes and are found in HEAVEN before the throne of God, all boys, never defiled with women, no deceit or guile found in their mouths and have been redeemed from among men and the earth <--lived and died....

My view....they are the wave offering of the Lord before the throne...144,000 Jewish males killed as martyrs in the place of JESUS
How did you get to this idea?

They had a king while rejecting the real one:

John 19:15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

Because it says latter days?

Also what about the romans scripture i posted and the question with it. Crystal clear.

Whats the problem of jewish conversion in the last days? Its biblical.
Sounds like you just dont want it to be so?

I can quote you non-dispensationalist bible commentators who agree with me on this. RAnging from reformed calvinists to catholics to orthodox to pentecostals to methodists to everybody INCLUDING church fathers!

Studying ALL the facts that are found in Revelation concerning the 144,000, noting the prophecy about Rachael weeping and her children are not, the fact that ALL the sons of Jacob are attribute to Rachael because she is the one he loved, the fact that HEROD had all the boys under the age of 2 killed in the all the coasts of Israel and the fact they are identified by the same word applied unto Jesus as the first fruits, they fit the picture of the wave offering and it makes complete sense when ALL the verbiage and above is viewed as a package.....

What a perfect wave offering for JESUS to offer....HIMSELF and and the cream of the crop...144,000 perfect, unblemished JEWISH males as the first martyrs in the place of JESUS

It really does fit......

Latter days is quite a general statement. Jesus also came in the "last days".

Romans are "crystal clear" regarding the fact that for whole the period Gentiles are coming to Christ, Jews will be hardened. But there is nothing about any change after it. The end of the world can simply follow.

How can the 144k be first fruits when scripture says Jesus is the firstfruit - arse about face theology[/QUOTE\]

You must not be that bright or are just willingly being obstinate...SAME WORD

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Can you prove it one after one? Too much thoughts linked together.

First, what facts in Revelation make you to believe its about children killed by Herod.

Your right, the people now have not repented

prophesy says THEY WILL REPENT. And when this happens. Just like God did with babylon, he will return them again. Except that time, Davids son will be on the throne.

Saying jews today have not repented so God does not have to keep his promise if they ever do. Is not right.
There will be a new Heaven and a New Earth and those who have repented will be part of the Israel of God along with
all who are in Christ in the new Jerusalem Christ is already on his throne at the right hand of God the Father

James 1:1 James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings.

James 1:18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

There's ya first fruits right there in James 1:18 - not some Jewish babies.

Dispensationalists need to stop making stuff up to prop up a corpse of a theology

First note the facts about the 144,000

Locations identified with
144,000 standing on MOUNT ZION with their FATHER'S seal on their foreheads
They are SINGING a SONG BEFORE the THRONE, BEFORE the 4 beasts and the elders
THEY follow the LAMB where ever he GOES
They are without fault before the throne

They have been redeemed
FROM the EARTH
FROM among MEN

They are a special unique group
ONLY they can learn the song they sing

They are faultless boys who have not had sex
They have not been defiled with women
They are virgins
They have no guile/deceit in their mouths

They are called the same word Christ is called
Being the FIRSTFRUITS unto GOD and the LAMB

What group in history can fit this group....the boys murdered by HEROD in the place of Christ

a. They are a unique group
b. They were boys
c. They were virgins
d. They have never been defiled with women
e. They have told no lies or used deceit or guile
f. They were alive <--redeemed from among men
g. They were dead <--redeemed from the earth (ground)
h. They are located before the throne, before the 4 beasts, before the elders and the follow the lamb where ever he goes (all in heaven)
I. Identified as the FIRSTFRUITS unto GOD and the LAMB

My view....they are the train of the Lord and represent the wave offering given by JESUS along with himself before the throne.

144,000 perfect, unblemished Jewish martyred males in the place of JESUS <---the cream of the wheat crop if there ever was one.

Hold your horses

Brother Dcon is NOT dispensational last time I checked, correct me if im wrong but he believes in post-trib rapture and despite that he AGREES with me.

Its not dispensational theology, its called plain reading of scripture.

You know its amazing to me how when you read some commentaries from those theological cemetary guys, they come to the 144 000 from EACH TRIBE (except Dan, no, im serious there is no Dan, look it up guys, which makes me suspect the antichrist might be from that tribe since its often portrayed in a negative light in the OT) yet they still believe that "Yeah that means the church".
Well if it means the church, why doesnt he just say "ekklesia" church, saints, SOMETHING other than using up lots of space writing all the different tribes?

Could it be that the 144 000 israelites are........... 144 000 israelites? I know its a wild theory but guys, consider the possibility.

Of course not. They were saved israelites living in the 1st century.

In fact on Pentecost a bunch of them got saved.

From my knowledge of the Bible, Israel is not a place or a government. It’s a people, God’s chosen people. When I say I support Israel, yes I do support “Israel” the nation-state since that nation-state is represented by a majority of God’s chosen people. But I also equally support Israel all over the world. Sometimes, I feel as Christians, we fixate on the literal nation of Israel too much and forget that it’s really about the people, and those people live in all corners of the world. I wish discussions of how we as Christians can support all of Israel, not just the nation-state itself, held a more prominent role in our internal dialogues.

This new heaven and new earth comes AFTER Jesus regn on earth, After satan is bound (which has yet to happen) After he is released and gathers one last rebellion, Lets focus on that why don’t we? Since that is next up on Gods timeline.

God made a promise to a nation. And if they repent before this jerusalem is gone, God will keep that promise, whether you or I like it does not matter. God keeps his promises.
