Getting a rebuke on the BDF can be like a badge of honor, or getting a gold star or something to that effect. Don't bother me none that's for sure.

Well, healthy, mindful, patient and considerate rebuke is a good thing, giving and receiving, but I still believe, the only weapons we should be using or sporting are the words of God.

I am thankful for the variety of threads and users so we can all hangout where we see fit, and also walk away from if we need to.

I am amazed how much of the word ppl know and how much can be learned, that is for sure.

quite simply , there is a spiritual war going on here. When a group of christians get together and talk about Jesus etc the enemy is bound to turn up. The more threat you are to the enemies plans, the more attention you will get. You could actually perceive it as a good sign, if your being attacked, then you must be on the right path.

Is not that the thing, that we have this much of denominations and views? Normaly of course, I would enter an thread where something is claimed that I as beliecer cant follow. The thing is, can I write my Post, without hurting the Person? And of course this is difficult, because we stay behind what we belive. For to be anticharismatic I have my reasons. But I try to separate the teaching from the Person.

Reminds me of some scriptures that I read the other day in Roman 14.

It tells us not to quarrel with each other over our opinions. And not to pass judgment on each other, because you are not their master. Let not the one who eats everything despise the one who only eats vegetables. Let not the one Or one esteems one day over another, while others esteem everyday. No matter which it is you believe, you are honoring God and giving him thanks for it.

Yep, sometimes you get one of those red X from someone so theologically thrown off that it is actually an approval.

and we are to judge ... but not the heart

I do not believe you are being targeted personally. But it is fair game to target false teachings. I believe there are several such teachings being promoted within the Charismatic groups.

Demons are attacking the Body of Christ through men such as Benny Hinn etc. But to expose false teachings is an act of love to protect the Body of Christ.

Let's take the example of "being slain in the Spirit". There is no such phenomenon within Scripture. Christ and the apostles always raised up the ones whom they healed, and never caused them to fall down backwards, crashing to the ground.

As someone trying to figure this place out, I am appalled when I think that it took the Father to draw "each and everyone of us" to the Son for us to find Salvation. Nowhere in Scripture does Jesus even hint that we should be split up into Denominations and separate Organizations having different belief systems other than what He personally taught to us. And if we want to take this further, what did John the BAPTIST say after learning Jesus was the Messiah? "I must DECREASE, so He may INCREASE!" Even Prophet BAPTIST knew his being there would bring division and he knew he needed to leave.

But on this forum, being of the Denomination of HYPOCRITE seems to be the "Banner" some desire to shine the brightest. And they believe they are saved by misquoting Paul. Even some believe they have a license to sin. I am a nobody, but even I can see that there is no way the Father is pleased by any of this.
