1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Unregenerate mankind's spiritual powerlessness is not opinion, it is fact (Ro 8:7-8).
Unregenerate mankind's slavery to sin is not opinion, it is fact (Jn 8:34; Ro 3:10).
That mankind is born spiritually dead in sin is not opinion, it is fact (Col 2:13; Eph 2:1).
That those who are slaves to sin have hardened hearts is not opinion, it is fact (Eph 2:3).
That by defninition, the spiritually powerless cannot soften their hard hearts by faith and obedience is not opinion, it is fact (Ro 8:7-8).
That only God softens the heart, and those hearts which he does not soften remain hard is not opinion, it is fact (Jn 6:44, 65).
That when he then judically hardens them, he has then declared the time for repentance is over, and they are condemned is not opinion, it is fact (Ro 11:23; Ex 4:21).
That this is the case with unbelieving Israel since the time of Christ is not opinion, it is fact (Ro 11:23).
That this is Scripture's revelation regarding hard hearts, which God then sometimes judicially hardens, is not opinion, it is fact (Ro 11:23; Ex 4:21).
