I have always said that the right guy with the right accent could chew me out up one side and down the other just as fiercely as he could muster...

And I'd just swoon and tell him, "Say it again!" because I would be so entranced at listening to his accent. :p

Not gonna lie...

thats how my husband got me ;)

I ADORE most accents... the thicker, the better.

Sadly, all I have is a boring generic Midwest manner of speaking.

Anyone want a Sodie Pop??!!! (And yes, I call it Pop, not soda.)
i was almost 5 when we moved east from Michigan.
the first time a friend offered a soda, i thought there would be ice cream involved!

How 'bout dem Cowboys? ;)
Where I'm from, it's the Spartans or the Wolverines. :)

Some of my favorite accents though are Southern (I LOVE Alabamian accents thicker than pea soup), Boston, Texan, and the News (New Jersey, New York, etc.), as well as any accent from the United Kingdom.

Ah... sigh. HEAVEN!

To me, accents are like music... and some represent a melody I could play over and over again all day long.

I think it is because I have ankyloglossia (tongue-tied). Since my tongue can't move like everyone else, it compensates by making it sound like I have an unknown accent. That is the only explanation I can even come up with.....
As long as you don't speak with forked tongue. Or God forbid, have one.

Okay, a brief rant.

Considering that anyone can start a new thread about (essentially) any topic, isn't interrupting threads to grind an ax about a particular theological view or to go after someone personally just a form of self-love?

You know, "I have an issue on my mind and I'm going to indiscriminately post it regardless of what is happening on this particular thread." Because it's all about ME ME ME.

Argh!
