oh dear...posted the wrong wreck image...oh well...it's all Atlantic anyway LOL!

since 1583 there have been over 350 recorded wrecks ... ships tried to go through Sable instead of around it...run aground by storms

ya think people would catch on....land ahead!!.....bad maps back then..and of course the seals weren't talking to them either..

Could be both...there are different kinds of seal too out there and some big sharks that love to eat them..."nice an oily - they is"...maybe we can talk ember's hubby into talking her for an "island trip" to scope things out for us?

ha...I'll let you all in a little secret...mr ember is in FL...working hard...coming back end of April

I might want to go out for the horses...would dearly LOVE to photograph them...but you can only access that sandbar if you are friends with someone in governement

we have sharks in the Bay of Fundy...the Great Whites...seals are the fav food apparently so you could be right Grace

I've seen seals out in the Bay and the Great Whites are documented...

Poor Mr. ember....he only has to worry about Bull Sharks in Florida..and maybe too much warm and sun.....:D.


Yes..it is true about the Bay of Fundy and the sharks...the largest Great White ever recorded apparently was caught there by a fisherman by Grand Manan Island..I was there with my brother back in December..

he always wanted to take me to Tahiti.....but I'm weird...I would rather go to Iceland or some other photogenic place
