The guy who started this latest "wemmens" thread is kinda upset with me for wanting popcorn while I read the comments

If he stays around long enough, he too will tire of such threads.............or not............ hmm

Please pray for me. I feel my depression weighing in on me, and dragging me down. Just feeling very conflicted over alot of things right now.. :(

I have dealt with depression a lot in my life. There are things that are important for me to manage in order to reduce the likelihood and intensity of the depression.

LIGHT! I always get mildly depressed in the winter because of the lack of bright light. You don't need special lighting (though it helps) just bright light.

Nutritional supplements: Omega 3, Vitamins A, B, & D, and fish oil. (The "one a day" type of vitamins are enough to keep you from getting a deficiency related disease, but the levels are not calculated for optimum health.)

Exercise: This is one of the best ways to combat mild depression.

Get enough sleep.

Keep a stable sleep schedule.

Deeper breathing: Our brains need oxygen to function. Breathing shallowly allows CO2 to build up and intoxicate us.

LAUGH!

Fellowship.

A hobby to be passionate about.

Thank God for everything you can think of.

LESS TELEVISION.

Read some good books.

Avoid dairy products
for a couple of weeks and see if you feel better.

Ditto wheat and corn products.

Make sure there is no mold happening in or around your house. Some types of mold & fungus are toxic.

If all of these things together are not enough to break the depression, see a psychiatrist to help you balance your neurotransmitters. Sometimes they just change and it's not our fault.

1 .) Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
