7:30am is too early to get up when the sun sets at 11pm.
Not enough tea for summer.

Directly speaking to people to counter their abuse and slander does not always work either, because sometimes, and often, the other person when confronted simply denies what they have done, even though it is right there for all to see, they will try to spin it in a different direction. Then they go on a slandering rampage for days, or even weeks, trying to discredit the person who stands up to them, so yes, abuse like that will get you blocked.

This one guy keeps showing up in threads where I am posting, not to add anything to the topic discussion, but simply to attack and slander me, many weeks after he first disagreed with me about whether or not it is appropriate for a female newcomer to ask men to PM her to talk about sexual matters. It seems obvious to me that this guy has had a grudge against me for quite some time, probably from before he joined the site under his new name. Is his lack of honesty supposed to be my problem? I would rather not deal with such people, when they show no sense of common decency, or any respect for personal boundaries.

People say use the ignore button if people are harassing you and then others
will say, how dare you ignore me, after they have continually abused you.

Situations like this really help me understand how God is no respecter of persons.

Every once in a while I get someone like that. I put them on ignore and leave it for 6months to a year and cut back on my activity. after a while, they get banned or leave or move on and forget about me and whatever disagreements we've had.
Now that I've said that they'll start remembering :/ all well

I'm somewhat looking forward to making supper tomorrow evening. For some odd reason I don't yet understand, my Dad has agreed to try Teriyaki Beef and Vegetables. Finally I can have a meal that isn't dipped in flour and fried, or smothered in some fatty gravy, or spiced so hot I can't stand it but needs to be that ridiculously hot for a man who burned all his taste buds out from smoking cigs for 50 years. I might actually enjoy a meal around this place. I'm gobsmacked.

Sounds yummy, Jon! :) I love a good stir fry :D

I do too. What I''ll be making is the result of a fat white guy mixing meat and veggies in a hot wok with some kind of soy-sauce based concoction, but that's a wordy title for a recipe, so I'll just call it Teriyaki Beef and Vegetables and hope nobody calls me out on my error of commission.
