If we're gonna fly, we fly like eagles
Arms out wide
If we're gonna fear, we fear no evil
We will rise
By your power, we will go
By your spirit, we are bold
If we're gonna stand, we stand as giants
If we're gonna walk, we walk as lions
We walk as lions
What an awesome song huh?

LOVE skillet.

yesterday, everyone but me tramped into the field behind the house to cut a Christmas tree. it was cold, and very windy.

my daughter, to her 2 yo son: isn't this fun, Elijah?

Eli, with a sigh: let's just go home to nana.

Yeah, winter was my favorite season, sliding down hills and ice skating on frozen ponds. Building snow forts was the best. Snowball fights were fun too.
i remember the mittens mom knitted. they got wet fast, but the love!

Oh how much I wish I could have enjoyed having white winters like you did. In Alabama, we have to import that so called substance that is known as, snow.

Winter was a favorite season for me after summer. Had much fun sledding down hills and ice skating. Building snow forts was the best and the snowball fights were fun also. I had a much higher tolerance for cold than I do now. I could stay out for hours.

Gonna try to go to Walmart in the morning, depending on what the weather does overnight. I wanna see if the Black Friday shoppers demolished the store.. :p
I just got back from our local super Walmart and it was a zoo. Boxes and boxes of freight blocking the aisles, very hard to get around. Plenty of selection though if you can manage to get to a shelf. Fortunately, it was not to busy. That's always a plus.

Some folks are wronged deeply and terribly. The following is something to read and consider, always keeping in front your own situation.........Pray for your enemies, but not for their sins.

Psa 62:1 To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
Psa 62:2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Psa 62:3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
Psa 62:4 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
Psa 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Psa 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
Psa 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Psa 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psa 62:9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Psa 62:10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
Psa 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
Psa 62:12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

Yesterday I went to Publix for bread. The shelves were about empty like there was a hurricane coming. Like what was the deal? No butter top bread at all. Did something happen that missed me; like I don't know about?

I heard no booms, and both back and front yards are without holes. Neighbors seem to be ok. I hear cars...

and people....people are here. Can't be the rapture or only a few left. ;)

Sounds like the bread was used for Thanksgiving and they have not restocked yet.
