Hubby is a power engineer and works 12 hour shifts, then comes home and does tons of outside chores needed to be done. He is an extremely HARD worker and never seems to stop. I was a health care aide for many years but I quit that in 2010 after some persuasion to let me quit. It got way too stressful for me. I take care of the inside chores most of the time (loading and unloading the dishwasher, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, mopping, bathrooms, etc etc etc) and he takes care of the outdoor stuff. Although he is certainly capable of laundry, dishes and all that jazz, I stay at home so it should be standard that all of that is done. (I wouldn't want him doing the dishes anyway cuz I saw the aftermath a few times when he's done dishes for me at the cottage LOL) While he is at work in the summertime I cut the front and back lawns just to save him from doing that when he get's home after a long exhausting day.
You compliment one another in all that you do and make it all work.
