I don't have the desire to want to change a man. God created him a certain way and have to learn to tolerate it and only him can want to have that desire to change not from me.
hang onto that. :)

my Gram said men had to be civilized....idk...my husband was pretty civil when i married him. ;)

Gram also said no couple grows up till they have children,
because there can only be so many babies in the house at once.

so much for your logic, Gram. lol

(honestly, almost every couple tries to make changes in one another.
silly rabbits---GOD does the changing!)

first year when you have dinner, get him to help you set the table. Get him to help you to clear the table and help wash the dishes. Ask him to take out the trash

but, men learn too.............setting table, OOPS, dropped her mama's favorite gravy bowl.....splatter......clearing table....OOPS.......leftover mashed 'tatters all over the floor..........as for dishes?

Now the real question IS WHY would one want him to do the dishes? (In my case if I were ever to be married I would prefer him to deal with the various woodland varmints) :p

and jumping things. ugh.

i texted our daughter last week to tell her i wished she had been here,
there was a frog on the deck.

she texted back to say if she was there, she's kiss it and bring it home.
wonder what her husband would have thought about that! haha

I personally would want to help around the house, like I do to help my parents. I help them with dishes, laundry, cleaning. It is a great time to talk and it makes the task more enjoyable. We can do both. One night when I was sick and totally out of it, I went downstairs to get a drink....I saw flashing lights in one room and heard talking...good thing it was only a tv, my father forgot to turn it off....I thought for sure I was going to be facing two guys, who broke into the house, while I was sick.

There are some men that are good at helping around the house, but then there are the others. Always let them go with their strength. :)

As I said, my husband was a biker and sometimes an ornery one at that. But he met his match with me. :D We were eating in a restaurant and he ticked me off so badly and stubbornly refused to own up to it. So I called rather "audibly" to the waiter and requested to be seated one table over without my husband. The restaurant was pretty crowded and my husband was too mortified to leave. HAHAHA!! He finally leaned over and apologized softly and I promptly moved back to his table and everything was cool again.
