Started with Constantine creating a "church" based on the Roman form of government, venerating the earthly leader when in reality the "church" or "ecclesia" is the body of believers, you and I and all who are in Christ and stay in Christ with every thought word and deed.

To all my brothers and sisters on this site. I must ask your forgiveness. I was on this site under a different name untill about a month ago. I have been lied to each and every one of you I have betrayed your trust and again I must ask your forgiveness. About a month ago instead of standing up and telling you all I was sorry for getting to overbearing I just changed my name. I was on here as the watchman. I have been a "christian" for 40 + years bouncing from one church to another as we have moved several times being in the service and then then my Job as a Director of sales and marketing for a large company. I spent most of my time in the Assembly of God but some other churches as well. We moved back to Arkansas to take care of my wife's folks; Brenda's uncle got me to studying with him and tought me to study chapter by chapter verse by verse had me get a good King James Authorized Version of the bible, a Strong's concordance and a Smiths Bible Dictionary. I am going to stop right there. I have enjoyed my time on this site my discussions on this site. I again ask your forgiveness and ask if I can stay on this site as KenAllen

Hi KA, owning up is a very good deal..... repenting and turning is essential as we are continuing to be conformed to His image.
I and many don't bounce around once we step into vital, personal, ongoing relationship with Him. Out faith is in Him, and the "church" is actually the body of believers, hence the earthly man made "church" can be unfulfilling, and can offer a way for a person to 'hide out".
