Anything but a troll - almost sound like the title of a Nirvana song...

I have to leave for work now, and I'm really not at liberty to say much.

I will say this, however...

I've actually had the privilege of speaking to this woman privately, so I understand what she's going through presently. In fact, just last night, I so felt the enormity of what she's dealing with that I literally had to agonize as I prayed for her.

People pass through here with all sorts of problems or situations that they're facing, and the last thing that they need to be told is that they're "trolls" or to drink some coffee to keep their fingers busy or to keep them from posting here.

I sense that you spoke what you did in ignorance, but as one who is in the know, I can assure you that God is not smiling down favorably upon you or your "big buddies" (they seem awfully "small" to me) at the moment.

If you or others are going to step up as the offenders of women, then I'll step up as their defenders.

I have to go.

I hope that you get it right with God and this woman, and that will require genuine repentance on your part.

I am glad you had your privileged conversation with her and that the connection is so deep. Maybe she just needed a friend.

Unfortunately when you approach people the way she did you are not going to get high fives and smiles and giggles all around... don't know what she was expecting... and by the way if you can't read into my sarcasm after your best friend tried to belittle people here by calling them "little" you must also grow up. I can at least acknowledge when I am ignorant...

From the Newsboys 1996 album "Take me to your leader" the song "Breakfast" (because that seems to be what's on a lot of peoples minds). It's a funny, thought provoking song; like much of their music from the 90's was.

Seems to me that you're part of the breakfast club too. I'm more of a brunch type of guy though. I like your Cap'n Crunch pic. Used to eat that stuff back in the day. Might have to grab a box now next time I go to Walmart.

Why dont we keep it that way. We are all going through things, nobody has it rosy and this is a nice thread to escape to.

I have been stagnant, I have been willfully sinning, and pushing my limits as a Christian and it doesn't make me feel good. It makes me feel very far from God and questioning my faith, feeling like a terrible example to those around me and lost trying to find my way again.

This sanctification thing is tough. Help me Jesus is my constant cry.

One of my latest compromises has been eating the wrong diet. The Bible says James 4: 17Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin.

I was taught a certain way growing up not by my parents as they had both passed away by the time I was 12 but by others who had a part in my growing up process including my Aunt... Whether this way was right or wrong it was the way I was taught and therefore a part of my belief system.

I need help in food choices, not cussing, not judging, not criticizing others, not robbing God of my time and talents to name just a few.

When I do these things I feel I am moving away from God not closer to him.

I need to confess all of this and repent and make an about face and start walking back toward God. I need to accept the forgiveness offered to me by Him and lean on Jesus. I do not want to commit the unpardonable sin as I want the Holy Spirit to always dwell within me.

So even old people have doubts and have questions and wonder when is He ever coming back and taking us out of this place filled with sin and satan who never leaves us alone but is constantly hounding us to sin over and over again? HELP!

So that's my rant for now... thanks for your time.... JesusLives but Dar is struggling.
