Amen And accept and trust his word

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And not reject his word

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If a person hears and believes, and receives, he already "HATH EVERLASTING LIFE"

John 10:26-29 - But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand, my Father, which gave them me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

The call goes out generally to everyone. Those who are chosen are the ones who come to Christ and receive Eternal Life.

Acts 13:46-49
46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

Further explanation of many being called vs. few being chosen.

John 10:26-29
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I have a different view of the "many called, but few chosen"

To my understanding, the many called are God's elect (Jacob, as Israel) the house of Israel, who turned away from God (Zeph 3:11-13) and the few chosen, to receive the knowledge of the truths in Jesus doctrine, are the remnant of the house of Israel.

I also think that the two gates in Matt 7:13-14 harmonize with the verse above. The wide gate, being the House of Israel, with a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge, and the straight gate, being the few, the remnant of the house of Israel, that found that abundant, and joyful life, in this present world, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, of knowing the truths of the doctrine of Jesus.

If the scriptures do not harmonize, then you do not understand the truths of Jesus doctrine.

Heb 10:14 - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Heb 10:17 - And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
The Scriptures all harmonize perfectly.

The problem is that some don't know what sanctified means. A person who is living a lifestyle of sin is not sanctified.

He will remember sins of the past no more. This is not a license to willfully manufacture new ones.

Eternal deliverance, for those that God gave to Jesus, to redeem them from their sins, was successfully accomplished on the cross, and given the promise of an inheritance of heaven. (John 6:39).

Those same people, that God gave to Jesus, are born into this world, by natural birth, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of our flesh, and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others, until God, by his sovereign grace, quickened them to the new spiritual life (Eph 2:1-5).

The same people, that God gave to Jesus, when they commit a sin, after they have been quickened, will lose their fellowship with God, temporary, until they repent, but they will not ever lose their eternal inheritance.

The natural man, before he has been quickened to the new spiritual life, cannot repent of breaking one of God's spiritual laws that he cannot discern, thinking them to be foolishness (1 Cor 2:14).
“Eternal deliverance, for those that God gave to Jesus, to redeem them from their sins, was successfully accomplished on the cross, and given the promise of an inheritance of heaven. (John 6:39).”

Aren’t you pretty big on what Paul teaches ?

“But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:3-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

at some point you have to start letting what’s actually being said sink in or you find yourself trying to believe only what verses you yourself find acceptable so basically any verse I can find that seems to say “ it doesn’t matter what I do I’m already saved and can never lose my salvation “

at he problem is with that it’s from a grace alone book that omits all the real truth of the Bible that is meant to bring a person to repentance and righteousness it’s really rejecting Gods grace and making it into this

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we reject the gospel of the lord and set ourselves up against his word we are never going to be able to overcome that , but we have the choice to acknolwedge the truth and that’s all it takes

Grace includes being taught to repent or ungodliness and lusts and to live soberly rightly in this world again just let what’s being said into your thinking instead of explaining how it’s wrong

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

once you eliminate everything that teaches us we can’t keep living in sin and need to repent and live right you can never learn it when you take this part out you’ve changed Gods grace into man’s idea

“grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”

Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”

Gods grace isn’t what those hypergrace osas books are teaching you brother it’s found when you start accepting the gospel of the kingdom and that includes those chapters from Paul which are doing everywhere in the New Testament

I realize though maybe you just have t heard those things and we’re told other things but the choice is yours to believe what the scripture declares again and again and let it in or reject it and prefer the Joseph prince version of salvation

a you should believe that Jesus saves us but not if we reject him and his word of life which doesn’t teach what your saying unless you pluck only verses out of their context and reject everything else

a let all of it be true and God will change everything you think and lead to a better place

“If a person hears and believes, and receives, he already "HATH EVERLASTING LIFE"

Yes you said it if a person hears the word of Christ and doesn’t reject it they have eternal life so when you hear this for a small example and actually don’t reject it but hear and believe

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

do you believe that ? And if so is there anything you need to now start doing ?

‬ ‭
“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The other side of that is this

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

ado you see how that works ? Your being given a choice in the gospel you can’t on one hand say “ anyone who hears and believes the gospel is eternally saved “ a

and on the other hand refuse to hear what he’s saying and claim “ I’m guaranteed eternal salvation “

What you hear and can understand of Jesus words teach you what to do and how to be saved

If this is truly all anyone can understand that Jesus said

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s enough to save them because it’s all they can inderstand that he said because they are a babe an infant they don’t understand and have t heard his word

since tbey start hearing what he’s saying if they understand it and then decide to reject it that’s not the same as just really not getting it

sits a process of faith you have to go hear what the lord said to believe and this is always going to lead to a change of what you do as we grow up in Christ we can’t keep sitting in a baby own crying for a bottle expecting mom to change our diapers when we become ten year old we’re going to know more than when we were a baby

eventually we’re going to have to let Jesus teach us so we don’t become barren fruitless bushes bearing thorns and briars those aren’t going to be harvested but instead gathered and burned up

so yeah I agree anyone who accepts the word of Jesus Christ ( the gospel of the kingdom ) and believes is going to be saved from death and live with him forever in glory

those who reject his word aren’t going to inherit what he promises in those words

You don’t just hear what you think you have to hear what he said and believe that leads us out of sin and into salvstion

Not trying to answer for cv5, but something for you to think about; Many are called as God's elect, (the wide gate), but few of God's elect are chosen to to be revealed the truths of Jesus doctrine, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit (the strait gate). that leads them to that abundant, and joyful life in this present world.
If we include the context for the verse below.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Here is the wider context.

Matthew 22:1-14
Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who held a wedding feast for his son. And he sent his slaves to call (called) those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come. Again he sent other slaves, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened cattle are all butchered and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast!”’ But they paid no attention and went their separate ways, one to his own farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his slaves and treated them abusively, and then killed them. Now the king was angry, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire. Then he *said to his slaves, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. So go to the main roads, and invite whomever you find there to the wedding feast.’ Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests. “But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, ‘Tie his hands and feet, and throw him into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

The meaning is obvious, many or all are called, but for various reasons they refuse the open invitation.

"So go to the main roads, and invite whomever you find there to the wedding feast."

This verse is not favorable for Calvinism.

So you are interpretating the scripture, to force your belief in determinism upon the text.

Your actually saying that God calls His people but is really lying to His people. Because God is not, in fact, calling anyone but the chosen.

You can't say that.

You can't say God's calling is actually a false calling.

No, Gods calling is not a false calling. And God ISN'T calling ONLY the chosen. You make scripture FALSE if you say that.

The word of God goes out to many. Those who are chosen, believe.

amen brother I suspect many older Christians would have a similar testimony as we do . Of course we all have particularly unique experiences but a fellowship is always found in a king journey that begins and ends with Jesus

thats a wonderful verse to know that all the injustice every true victim who doesn’t get it now , certainly will by the Will of God who will right every wrong and commend every good

ive come to think that many of the worst struggles I had worst failures are the times I learned the best and most powerful lessons that really stuck

Truly he is the good shepherd guarding the flock against the wolves waiting just beyond the light

“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:7-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The good shepherd cares because we belong to him we’re his purchased by his majesty in suffering and tears and his blood poured out for us at Calvary

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

His love for us cost him everything , even to his agonizing final breath he was thinking of our salvation “ forgive them

I can’t hardly wait to see his face and weep at his feet in wonder
Me too.. I know he wipes away tears of sorrow. I think tears of joy will remain. 😊

"If the Lord steps in to save any, He may do so if the ends of justice are not thwarted; but if He judges it best to leave the condemned to suffer the righteous sentence, none may arraign Him at their bar. Foolish and impudent are all those discourses about the rights of men to be all placed on the same footing; ignorant, if not worse, are those contentions against discriminating grace, which are but the rebellions of proud human nature against the crown and sceptre of Jehovah."

Was this one offering offered to God, for God's acceptance, or to mankind, for mankind's acceptance?

If ALL scriptures do not harmonize, then you are not understanding the truths within them.:

Was the sacrifice of Jesus, a sacrifice to God, for God's acceptance, or was his sacrifice to mankind, for mankind's acceptance?

The kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of Christ, who is God, are two of the many names of his church that he established.

Most of those that he died for (the house of Israel) turned away from following his commandments, and were denied membership into his church, but they will not lose their inheritance of heaven. (Zeph 3:11-13) (the remnant of the house of Israel) are members of his church.

Those that Jesus died for on the cross to redeem them from their sins, was not all of mankind, but only for those that God gave to him, which were his elect, known as his sheep (John 10:26-29)

Jesus was not a failure. He did redeem those that God gave him from their sins, saying that he would raise them up at the last day, without the loss of one. (John 6:39)

Jesus is God. Jesus' Atonement was full payment for men's sins. Men must accept this payment in order to profit from it.

There is a three in one Godhead, but they each have different functions. John 6:39 states that Jesus died only for those that His Father gave to him, not for all mankind.

Calvinism describes the state of old Man who is inherantly a sinner and in a state where he’s a captive to the struggle of good and evil “ I can’t make a choice I’m not capable of doing good God will destroy or save me and nothing I do can change that “

calvin wasn’t explaining the freedom in Christ part it’s why his doctrine doesn’t mention this as the way

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32, 34, 36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Calvinism doesn’t allow for that so this doesn’t make sense

“What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;

whether of sin unto death, ( one choice ) or of obedience unto righteousness? ( the other choice )

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; ( past )

even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.”( present )
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:15-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As long as we reject his word that sets us free we can’t get to this point that is the intent of all of it

“For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness,

but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:15-17‬ ‭

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

liberty means we’re not forced but are free to choose , as long as we remain on the mind telling us “ you can’t repent and obey God your already saved no need to hear anything else “

airs a veil shutting our eyes to the freedom he’s freely provided for us to make the right choice of who we’re going to yield ourselves to satans Will ? Or Gods ?
