Sorry but bugs only thrive in an unhealthy body. If we eat as God intended for us, we will rarely get sick. I am talking about chronic sickness which is caused through bad diet which includes eating pesticide laden foods, GMO and fortified foods containing folic acid which is often not metabolised and builds up causing problems. Packaged food is not safe. Medications are not safe unless they are to save a life.

1COR.11:26-27.
For as often as you eat this Bread and drink this Cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
Therefore who ever eats this Bread or drinks this Cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty
of the body and blood of the Lord.
what the Corinthians were doing, is that they were partaking of the Lord's supper according to their cultural traditions -
they were having a party...and in doing this, they were dis-respecting the New Covenant in His blood,
1COR.11:25.
it is written,
HEB.10:29.
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy,
who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith He was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
we cannot trample these Sacred most Holy things of Jesus Christ.., and this is exactly what
the Corinthians were doing...(they were 'members of the Body').
in short, Christ caused sickness and death among these 'believers' - but even in ALL of THIS,
God's mercy shows through...
1COR.11:32.
But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
as it is written,
His mercy endures forever.'

I LOVE THE STORY OF JOB.. I HAVE LEARNED THAT GOD WORKS IN REVERSE. HE KNOWS OUR END AND KNOWS THAT WILL REACH THE GOAL SET BEFORE US. THE SCRIPTURE, "GOD WILL NOT PUT MORE ON US THAN WE CAN BEAR" COINCIDES WITH THE BOOK OF JOB. TRUE, JOB SUFFERED AND LOST ALOT BUT GOD KNEW THAT THROUGH IT ALL JOB WOULD NOT DEVIATE FROM HIS FAITH. HE KNEW GOD TO BE SOVEREIGN AND ALL-POWERFUL. HE KNEW GOD TO BE LOVING AND IN CONTROL. THE DEVIL TRIED SO HARD TO BREAK HIM BUT WAS UNABLE TO.. I BELIEVE GOD CHOSE JOB BECAUSE OF HIS FAITHFULNESS. HE KNEW THAT EVEN THROUGH THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS, JOB WOULD NOT FOLD.. HE STOOD STRONG IN HIS FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD. AS BELIEVERS, WE NEED TO EXERCISE THIS SAME FAITH. TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS COME BUT THE IMPORTANT THING IS KNOWING THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL. IF WE KEEP OUR EYES ON HIM THEN HE WILL WORK THINGS OUT AND REWARD US ACCORDINGLY.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue…
Many things in life can cause us to fear—losing our jobs, deadly diseases, terrorist attacks and so on. When these things confront us, we tend to give in to worry and fear, and start talking about our fears.Death and life are in the power of the tongue…
Job was no different. He constantly feared that God would punish him and his family because he kept thinking that his sons had sinned against God. He would get up early in the morning to offer burnt sacrifices, saying, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” And the Bible tells us that he did this “regularly”. (Job 1:5)
So Job kept confessing the sins of his sons and fearing that something terrible would happen to him and his family. In fact, his sin-consciousness didn’t just produce fear, the Bible tells us that he “greatly feared”. (Job 3:25)
It is important that we understand that it was Job’s sin-consciousness that opened the door to Satan. His preoccupation with sins that his family may have committed gave Satan the opportunity to bring death and destruction into his life. God had a hedge of protection around Job. But when he started being sin-conscious and having a fearful expectation of judgment, the hedge was removed and Satan could attack him. (Job 1:9–12)
My friend, today, if you have sinned, don’t say, “I have failed again. I deserve to be punished by God.” Know that you already have forgiveness of sins because Jesus was punished and condemned in your place! (Ephesians 1:7) So say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Jesus, You are my holiness and perfection.” (1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21)
We must be mindful of what we believe and say regularly because “death and life are in the power of the tongue”. So when you hear of a deadly virus taking many lives, don’t say, “I’m next because I have not been a good Christian!” Instead, say, “Jesus, You are my righteousness and protection. Surely You shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence!” (Psalm 91:3)
Beloved, such believing and confessing not only please God, but they also shut the door on Satan so that he cannot make any inroad into your life!

I have seen this to be true in my life as well. What I've said and worried about often ended up coming to pass. Even the world has made this observation when they say "self fulfilled prophecy" Instead of confessing the truth and how God is faithful in His love toward us so much that He sent His Son to save us. I think we make the same mistake Job did about worry. His children must have been a difficult bunch to parent. But the more we act on and talk about our worry the less we are trusting God and instead focusing on the problem and not the solution that would be resting in God's ability and promise to take care of us.
How much less would I have suffered had I just trusted God's love and provision for me and my family.
You are missing the point of Job and do not understand the relationship we have with the Lord. Yes He is our Father, but He is Lord. Our actions are supposed to align with His purposes, not His with ours. He equips us for His desires not ours. Sometimes it is the problems and sufferings in life that change us for the better. Sometimes it hurts when God prunes some of the dead branches in our lives that aren't producing any fruit. Many who follow Christ have to spend some time in the wilderness, when nothing seems to be going right. Those are the times to be in prayer and reflection. In order to purify the gold you have to melt it down and subject it to extreme conditions. When the process is complete all of the impurities are gone. Walking in the Spirit is much like that process, it helps us shed greed, bitterness, shame and lust. There are some miraculous benefits we can receive but they are granted for His glory, not ours. Is there something you are praying about and not receiving?

Job 8:2

All I was doing was addressing the issue of why Job suffered the way he did. My experience is that the Lord solves my problems for me. Why, then, didn't the Lord solve Job's problem - his physical suffering? Suddenly it occurred to me that I don't remember Job ever asking the Lord to do that for him.
i understand what you are trying to say, But your statement is NOT True. A person who is being raped, can they be happy about that situation?
1Th_3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
God's hands are tied. He is bound to His own Word, for God can't lie. If it is written, if you sow to the flesh of the flesh you shall reap corruption. So a person lives in fornication, and at the time of that, does not reap corruption. But God does not lie, and therefore later on in life that person does reap corruption in their flesh, cancer, disease, sickness, aliments, bites, and what have you. Not because God desired this, but that God does not lie, they have brought it upon their own selves by sowing to the flesh, and have ignored the verse which plainly teaches if you do so, you SHALL reap corruption in that flesh.
Is it not also written if you take communion unworthily, they will suffer sickness and even death? Yes it does.
i would that all of you would read this chapter "The Meaning of Life" We are all here to be tested. And if you believe that Truth, it should change your life forever.

First off Paul didn't ask to be healed. Paul wasn't sick he had a messenger from Satan, a thorn in his flesh sent to stir up trouble for him. Jesus didn't tell Paul he wouldn't remove it. He told Paul that his grace was sufficient and that his strength had been made perfect in weakness. Everything that means is the subject for a complete sermon.

Looking at Job there are some things to note. First God didn't make a deal with Satan to torture Job. Satan asked and God simply told the truth, "Behold (look and see) he is in your hand." God would tell the truth even to Satan. I contend that Job opened the door with his repeated sacrifices and fear for his children. One sacrifice would have been sufficient had Job ever had faith in the sacrifice. Instead he made sacrifices continually based on ,his children might have sinned. We know he was operating in fear instead of faith because he later said "The thing I greatly feared has come upon me."
Later at the end of Jobs trials God told Job to gird himself up like a man and declare before him. That sounds to me like God wanting Job to stand on his covenant and remember his covenant.
As far as Job being upright before the Lord. That didn't mean that he couldn't have done anything to let Satan in. It just means that Job upheld his part of his covenant with God. That is how God sees a man upright, not by every action he does. Just look at the life of Abraham for that example.
