It just makes me a bit nervous when folks think that's it's a Christians job to
point out sin in unbelievers lives. I think Scripture tells us not to do that.
I absolutely agree and this happened to two people on here today, a new member who will probably leave Christian Chat.

I think if a person is accused of "bearing false witness" that is pointing out someone's sin and it should not happen.
The new person was an unbeliever? Wow! I did not know that. He seemed to be presenting himself as a believer.

Or else you contradict yourself. Again.
Christians should still correct the errors and stand against the promotion of sin.

This sounds familiar. Didn't the Pharisees sorta "freak out" when Jesus ate with publicans and sinners? (Mark 2:16)

Oh, and when the woman washed Jesus' feet with her tears and the Pharisee "...spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner." (Luke 7:39)

We're supposed to be like Jesus (1 John 2:6, 1 Corinthians 11:1) and He spent "hours" upon hours with sinners. Would you say he was wrong? That we should walk in His steps but ignore this aspect of His ministry?

Funny to me that the things the Pharisees condemned Jesus for -- spending time with sinners -- are still being used as an argument against Christians.

This kind would have the gall to pick away at the errors in it.

I am well aware of some of their beliefs through research. They are almost as
out there as Scientology
.. I would never read their book of Mormon.

Dallas was speaking of specific people he knows. Do you believe everything your church teaches? .
If my church told me Jesus and satan are brothers i would not believe them.i would not be in that church. . This is not if or how to baptize this is not tongues or no tongues this is the claim that Jesus is satan brother . What does that say about His deity virgin birth? And last Who is God the Father?

The problem is saying he and them absolutely love the same Jesus. Seems to me he either doesn't know what the LDS teaches or he does not care.
Seems to me he was speaking of specific people he knows very well and not the LDS as a whole.
It also seems to me he is against broad brushing people.

Is this drawing available? Father's Day is coming up and I want dad to think I'm still improving.

The "stand thou not so close to me" kind. Idk, I think the Sting wrote a song about it.
Hmm..

The song deals with the mixed feelings of lust, fear and guilt that a school teacher has for a student and the fallout when the inappropriate relationship is discovered by other adults.
(Wikipedia)

I totally see how this ^^^ relates to the topic.

Yes, the inappropriate relationship with other students is totally relevant.

I do not know the people Dallas was referring to, nor am I acquainted with their beliefs.

The first video? Hmmmm. I am referring to the video where Dallas attempts to clarify what he meant.

It's all one big :poop: storm because Mormons are involved... even though the series is not depicting Mormon beliefs.

So quite a few are trying to hang him via the logical fallacy of guilt by association.

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The series is leading people to Christ and making many re-evaluate their beliefs about religion in general,
Christianity in particular, and think more deeply about Who Jesus Christ is. I see those as positives.

he loves their Jesus
I thought Dallas said they love the same Jesus. Not that he loves the LDS Jesus. Big difference.

The Jesus the people he knows intimately through years of association and hours and hours of discussion.

Discussions which I am not privy to. Like if you or I or anybody else said, I have Catholic friends who believe in the
same Jesus I do, love the same Jesus and know Him the same as I do despite their being part of a heretical church.
Friends I have known for years and discussed this in depth with. I would think Dallas would know the difference.
I guess many here do not think he would. Hence the :poop: storm. I give him the benefit of any doubt. Many do not.

Specific people in the LDS and not the LDS as a whole. People he has known for years and had in-depth
conversations with. This has been pointed out multiple times and obviously ignored just as many.
