So, we can take a holiday that was created by pagans to worship pagan gods, that was never mentioned in the Bible or instructed God's people to celebrate, and redeem it for God by celebrating Jesus' birth on a day that probably isn't anywhere close to being His birthday, and claim it's honoring to God.
BUT....
We can't take holidays created by God that are mentioned frequently in the Bible that instruct God's people to celebrate, and that celebrate so many different facets of our God because it is dishonoring to God?
Seems more accurate to say, "there was the old way, and there is the new way",
and then there's our own way.
