13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Wide road = majority of people in the world that wonders after the beast hmmmm the whole world celbrates christmas easter halloween etc whyyyyyyy
Straight gate = few in the world that do not celebrate what the majority of the world does and will always be scoff at because they do not follow tradition and the multitude

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Christmas has become an economic staple ( imagine that) for many corporations and has nothing to do with the birth of christ. Now the tree can be argued. Many say that the druids did it in an attempt to defy winter. While other say that it is a symbol of Christ that sustains even in winter. All I know is that all of the pastors that I have sat under from childhood till now would not allow a tree in the sanctuary only in the vestibule or outside.

It was three Magi and a host of servants and it was about two years after His birth. Herod killed all makes under two years old. Man folks need to read with understanding.
The Magi were not magicians they were wise men of babylon that studied the writings of the prophet Daniel. How else would they have known about the star.. Read folks read.

Most churches today teach that there were three wise men who came to see Baby Jesus in the manger shortly after his miraculous birth. They sing the song "We three kings" amongst other songs or poems which proclaim that three wise men came to see Baby Jesus.
But is this really what the Bible teaches? Were there really only three, and did they come to the manger to worship Baby Jesus?
To be honest, the Bible supports no such teaching at all. It was the shepherds who came to the manger the same night that Jesus was born. The Bible does not say, but the wise men most likely did not visit Jesus 1-2 years after he was born;
The story is found in Matthew 2:1-12, and there is no mention as to how many there were. It simply says that they came and brought three gifts. It is possible that because they brought three gifts, that this could be one of the reasons why it is being taught that there were three.
But that is an unreasonable theory because there could have been as many as 10 wise men who all brought a gift of gold, or 10 who brought gifts of myrrh, and 10 who brought frankincense. The statement in the Bible is true no matter how many there were, because there really were only 3 gifts.

So, we can take a holiday that was created by pagans to worship pagan gods, that was never mentioned in the Bible or instructed God's people to celebrate, and redeem it for God by celebrating Jesus' birth on a day that probably isn't anywhere close to being His birthday, and claim it's honoring to God.
BUT....
We can't take holidays created by God that are mentioned frequently in the Bible that instruct God's people to celebrate, and that celebrate so many different facets of our God because it is dishonoring to God?
Seems more accurate to say, "there was the old way, and there is the new way",
and then there's our own way.
