I am afraid you misunderstand the Godhead.

The HS does not point to himself or any other.

He points MEN to Jesus.

So,factor that in and see that I am not referring anyone to Satan.

How can you hope to muddy up the power?

A powerless Jesus?

Remove the HS?

Claim the HS is Satan?

I think what is causing some confusion is FEAR.

Some are taught the whole of salvation is the cross.

(no resurrection,or power for walk and ministry)

You can't invoke "the early church",or church fathers,or the bible.

Bizarre.

Bottom line

Cessationist "power" only exists through editing/omitting the word of God.

Nor did the day of Pentecost come from somewhere other than heaven.

We're not called to display power, we're called to die daily to ourselves that His power may work in us.

It appears the cessationist believe the power and Jesus are two opposing forces.

That the highest ground is rejecting power and attributing it to satan.

If that concept is not in the Word,which it isn't,them where did it come from?
